Simply itching to learn? Whip out your iBone. Practice and learn positions and songs. Even play-a-long with any of your own melody -- accompany the lead, or take the solo spot. Don't have a clue? Play-a-long with a tune from the iBone Songbook and allow roboBone present you the method. It's simple: 1. Touch or blow (2.3+) to create a sound. 2. Slide your finger to change pitch. 3. Raise and lower the bell to change volume. With iBone, you can cover the Trombone's standard two and a half octave range -- slur up and down, slide in and out, and easily play method out of tune. It's the closest you'll receive to the true thing. No clue about the true thing? Pick a tune from the iBone Songbook, and allow roboBone present you the method as you play along with the band accompaniment. Philip Carlson: I like using this apk for finding alternate positions&lines as well as for visualizing a line in a various method. I noticed the delay Ian mentions too. I can't use it to really play a tune just to work it out. Other thing that would be helpful is having more partials above the C. The next F up could be a minimum.

A Google user: Really nice apk overall. Am currently having some problems with the download more songs feature, but the dev is super responsive and is working on it. Screen orientation is opposite of most apks because of mic positioning for blow mode and camera position for reality mode.

A Google user: Very well done trombone apk! Slide your finger all around the screen to play various notes. The touch interface is very sensitive and you can really easily adjust the pitch and sound just like a true trombone. The really fun part is playing along with the songs in the songbook. It is type of like Guitar Character where it shows you where to tap so you can play the song. Apk runs excellent on my one year old sony ericsson xperia device. Highly suggested!

Ian Alagna: It sounds unbelievable. It responds to your touch quicker now, and it's a good method to visualize songs. The tone of the notes should be improved, especially on short taps, but overall this apk is very useful and a lot of fun.
