ICDPPC 2018 is a FREE product brought to you by the European Data Safety Supervisor (EDPS). This apk will assist you to participate in the 2018 International Symposium of Data Safety and Privacy Commissioners in Brussels by taking part in polls, sharing your views and asking questions. The apk is also a handy, at-your-fingertips program to check the symposium programme for each day, info about speakers as well as venue details. Taking put in Brussels from 22-26 October 2018, the symposium is created up of a closed and public session. Accompanying privacy happenings are being held in Sofia, Brussels. The theme of the symposium is Debating Ethics: Dignity and Respect in Data Driven Life. With the audience in Brussels comprised of various disciplines including data safety and privacy experts, our aim in the public session of the symposium is to reflect on the digital revolution and its impact on our societies and how a fresh digital ethics should assist to maintain respect and dignity in our tech-driven globe. We aim to have an inclusive, multi-disciplinary and interactive debate and the apk will play a role to create that happen. The 2018 symposium is being co-hosted by the Bulgarian Data Safety Commission (CPDP) and the European Data Safety Supervisor (EDPS). It is the first time in the conference’s almost 40 year history that an EU institution has been chosen to host it. The International Symposium is a worldwide annual forum at which independent regulators on privacy, data safety and freedom of info adopt high level resolutions and suggestions addressed to governments and international organisations. For almost four decades, the symposium has provided international leadership to data safety, privacy and freedom of info by connecting the efforts of 115 privacy and data safety authorities from across the globe.
