ABOUT IDEX IDEX is one of the leading defence exhibition and symposium in the MENA region demonstrating the recent technology across land, sea and air sectors of defence. It is a special platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses and armed forces throughout the region. Patronage and Organiser IDEX is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and is organised by the Capital Happenings in association and with the full help of the UAE Armed Forces. Location IDEX takes put biennially at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), which is centrally located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The IDEX exhibition takes over 100% of the state-of-the-art exhibition centre, utilising 133,000sqm of happening space. ABOUT NAVDEX In 2021, the region’s leading naval defence and maritime safety exhibition (NAVDEX) will return to Abu Dhabi and will have the prestigious honour of the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and organized by IDEX LLC (an ADNEC Group Company) in association with the UAE Armed Forces GHQ. NAVDEX is held alongside IDEX, the International Defence Exhibition and Symposium and features a purpose built exhibition hall, ADNEC Marina for visiting naval ships, a pontoon for little crafts, everyday water demonstrations and an outdoor display area. NAVDEX provides a dedicated and focused platform for international naval defence and maritime safety companies to showcase their technologies and services to an international audience. NAVDEX offers exhibitors the special occasion to promote the recent in naval, maritime and coastal safety technology, equipment and crafts.
