  Matthew Howell: First off, this apk states exactly what it will do. They spell out exactly why they need you to make an acc with their app.They are completely up front in regards to what they will do with your data both during and after the research study. Before I made my acc, I read their entire terms of service. In my opinion, absolutely nothing stood out that would have caused me any alarm or unease. I was able to make my acc within seconds, and also verify my acc within seconds.

  Willem van den Berge: The verification process is odd, but it does work. Usually a verification link just requires a click to verify. In this case it requires a click and then a login in the web portal. Installation was painless on a Google smartphone. Hasn't picked up anything yet, we'll see later today as I enter a more target rich environment.

  John Emmert: It is a tiny buggy to register, i.e. after I clicked the link, I had to exit the apk, reply all the questions once more, and then login. So far it is only showing me a few traffic cameras nearby, but I'll take it to the mall and allow it run a bit. Interesting idea, hope they receive some useful data. Like everything that asks for an email address, I just made one at sneakemail and gave it to them.

  Keith Wessel: Not what I thought. This apk is a mixture of things. It's a crowd sourced apk that shows you the place of devices that monitor and record you. It scans your use of the internet to see what websites are collecting about you. If that's what you're looking for, then good. If somebody hides a device in your home, work, car etc., this apk won't assist you search any of those since those devices would not be reported to the apk. I think a simpler explanation as to what this apk does would assist.

  George Brancovici: What exactly does this apk do? "Explore and control IoT data collected about you" is extremely vague... Also, it doesn't explore anything around me, despite having a lot of devices that would normally qualify as IoT, so I cannot check that part in order to understand. Control data collection? How can one apk control data collection from any IoT device?

  Steve Shockley: Buggy. I had to go through the install magician 5x before it would take, then it kept telling me i hadnt verified my acct (i did). So i quit and reopened yet once more, agreeing to two 80k word documents, still won't log in. oh, well. Try before release next time.
