IpSensorMan Manages talking to different sporting sensors using ANT+™ or Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy interfaces. Using a separate apk allows multiple client apks to access to the sensors simultaneously. Most of the hard work for talking to the different standard sensors is provided by the apk simplifying the client apks. Simplified info is broadcast to any registered application that wants access to the sensor data. This product is ANT+ certified and complies with the following specified ANT+ device profiles: Bicycle speed data Bicycle cadence data Bicycle combined speed and cadence data Bicycle power data Heart rate data Beta help for the following profiles. Not gone though certification yet. Stride Based Speed and Distance (footpod) Environment (Garmin Tempe) Polar Wearlink®+ transmitter with Bluetooth® and Zephyr HxM BlueTooth Heart rate monitor help added with 1.2.6 Bluetooth Low Energy / Bluetooth Smart help is currently in beta please see http://www.iforpowell.com/cms/index.php?page=btle-beta for info and to sign up. IpSensorMan could recognize another ANT+ sensor types although full decoding help is not currently implemented. Also I collect usage statistics via flurry.com. I am really interested what phones it is installed on and what ANT+ sensors it is used with. You can switch this off from the options. Hardware controls - ANT radio access. I won't be able to do much without this one. System programs - modify global system settings, prevent smartphone from sleeping. There is an option to hold ANT active when the smartphone is in airplane mode which us useful for saving power, this needs to modify the system settings. You still need to do the airplane mode entry yourself. This feature needs at least ver 2.6 of ANT Radio Services. If we are actively monitoring the ant radio the smartphone will not sleep, the screen may still go off though. Bluetooth - in order to help the Bluetooth Heart rate monitors. ANT Compatible phones. Sandeep K Shandilya: Very awesome and useful, but on Nokia 8 sometimes when heart rate goes low, below 72, sensorman stops reading heart rate, hold getting notice "in airplane mode" and the only method to recover is to restart the smartphone. Would be glad to assist out. I have seen this problem 2 to 3 times so far. Is this problem hardware similar? How to proceed further?

A Google User: like it but... when searching, would like "find" to test to cycle thru all my configured sensors only. And, would also like it to disregard another Ant+ sensors near by, like what happens at begin of a group ride, unless I've for some reason asked it to do so.

Arthur Doyle: Really intelligent tool. At the moment though, it's a really really fast battery drainer on my Z3. Can also loose connection with sensors if "trip paused" the "resumed" requiring me to reopen ipsensorman and research for the sensors

Dustin Warren: I've been using ip bicycle for awhile. I just switch to a fresh smartphone and ip sensor man is using 24% of my battery. It's running time is constant. Is there a method to create it only operate when ip bicycle is running?

A Google User: Awesome, but one minor problem Have an LG G2. Everything worked good except when pedaling, the speedometer would present half the speed of the actual speed. It would go back to normal I'd I stopped pedaling. All else seems to be accurate. Hoping tool modernize will fix this.

Arno Schut: Cadence works ok. Speed occasionally, i cannot couple it to my smartphone. it just picks it up. i receive another ones heartbeat all the time and donot know how to slay it. if i slay one other pops up. would like to know how to block (fresh) ant from outside.

A Google User: Having some issues Just started using Ipbike, getting slowly to grips with it, but having trouble with it / Ipsensorman. Hold getting this error: unfortunately com.iforpowell.android.ipantman has stopped. It then looks like Ipsensorman isn't installed. If I re install it, I can receive it to work perfectly. I've got a Galaxy Note 4.

A Google User: Confusing I'm not quite sure what this apk created for, despite connect to ant+ sensor, i was thinking it can let me connect my sensor to multiple apks, but it didn't, everytime I begin ant service, it never works in the background so it can provide services for multiple apks

A Google User: Getting confused Apk mistakenly recognizes the very ubiquitous Panobike Bluetooth Speed and Cadence sensor as a Panobike HEART RATE sensor. There is no heart rate sensor anywhere.
