  Dan Provenzano: So far so awesome with S8 and V50 pro. Connected with no problem, takes pictures and video, adjusts settings all with no crash. I did note that the wireless connection password is wrong on the online player manual, use the password that appears on your camera screen when wireless connection is enabled. Hopefully this will continue to work well! Thx!

  Steven R: Just connected my Pixel 3xl to this apk and everything seems to be working ok. A lot of people are saying that the apk crashes every time they begin the apk but mine just takes me to the wireless connection settings then I hit the return button and it takes me back to the apk and it's ready to use. I tried taking images and videos in 4K, tried adjusting all the settings including interval recording, downloading images and videos. All worked ok. Downloading 4K videos to your smartphone will take some time.

  Tired OlFolk: Good Apk - Player the Trouble! WOW, this apk gets the best out of my AKASO V50 wireless camera! Initially had WiFi problems, but went to my Samsung Note 8 smartphone assist section and read, read once more and then had my wife read it to me and POW... it hit me! I was the one screwing up the process!!! RTFM... Read The Freaking Manual! Something I'm reluctant to do most times until someone has to unscrew me from the ceiling. Please, if you're having problems, humble yourself and RTFM 🙃

  Shardik: Used the below "pro advice" re the apk - worked a treat. Have so far not experienced bug problems others have reported - I'm no tech whizz but it seems if you just remember to turn on wireless connection and / or remote control on the camera each time you wish to use them they work ok, if a tiny clunky. As for the camera itself, so far so awesome - I've been trying it out around the house to receive used to it before mountain biking at the weekend, then skiing next month - I'll modernize here once I've properly inspected!

  Tyler Edmonds: Pro advice: if you're on Android device and having problems connecting this to your smartphone via WiFi, turn on airplane mode > turn WiFi back on > connect once more. Worked for me and a few another people on the internets... Loses one star because of that. Everything else seems to work good so far.

  Jelly reaprr: so if the apk wont work just take the sd card after taking some videos then take the sd card out if the computer then place the sd card from the camera then place it in your computer then go to images or videos and then there could be some folders and search the one hst has your videos. i havent used the apk yet so im just gonna give it a 3 star so right in the middle. also it doesnt come with a sd card. so yeah.

  mi ho: I am connecting an Akaso V Pro SE to my Moto G5S+. It has taken some time to figure this out, but the apk does not recognize that the camera is connected to the smartphone unless the mobile data is turned off. Some one mentioned in other review that turning on airplane mode created it work. If that is your situation, test turning off just the mobile data, that method you can still keep smartphone calls. It also crashes when you test to place the apk in the background so you can do another things with your smartphone. That is annoying. Otherwise, it appears to work, although I am just in the testing phase. Overall this apk is not as player friendly as it could be but it basically does what it is says, so three stars. I will modernize this is something changes.

  A Google user: First use of Akaso V50 pro and this apk. Used with Samsung S5 Android device 6.01 and Samsung Tab S2 Android device 7.0. On smartphone, no screen rotation but on smartphone, screen rotation fine. On smartphone, frequent disconnects and a few reboots. On smartphone, one disconnect, no reboots. Note that images (not video) when viewed on smartphone are heavily artifact-ed until viewed with a separate Android device picture viewer, then they look better. Video looks awesome on the smartphone when watching live. BTW, you connect to the phone/tablet on a separate WIFI Akaso network emanating from the V50pro which disconnects the smartphone from the Internet using WiFi. So after 50 mins, I can say that this apk crashes/reboots the S5 smartphone, but works fine with some disconnects on the S2 smartphone. I did test a lower video resolution on the smartphone but that did not assist - still crashes/reboots. Awesome luck.

  Greg Bruno: The one star says it all. This apk is not ready. It does not work at all. I hated it. Having to tell my son that it is a rip off was painful as he was so excited to use it with his V50 pro. The only thing worse than the apk is the customer service. There responses to my requests for assist were incomprehensible. It is so irritating that they place this out there knowing it does not work.
