Iwo Jima 1945 is a turn based tactic mini game which takes put on the Pacific Theater during the Second Globe War. You are in command of the American Marine force seizing the island of Iwo Jima in February 19th 1945 (Operation Detachment). A Google user: I am really impressed how Joni treated the nuances of the Iwo Jima campaign. The cave system added a awesome twist to the tactical consideration. Also, the ability to shift troops battlefield roles (using NCO) resources added other entertaining aspect to this grinding campaign. I have bought a few of his mini games and I just wish to add one recommendation here to add the ability (create it an in apk purchase) on future updates to let me to play either side when starting a fresh mini game.

James A: As a former infantryman and an avid tactic gamer, I've had nothing but fun playing this mini game. It has been a tiny glitchy on my Casio commando but I just reinstalled it. The ability to change strategies for static defense or transistinning into maneuver is good. Also being able to request resources is other good asset. Freaking outstanding!

George Ross: A good addition to the series, proving once once more that Joni's outstanding wargame engine can be adapted to virtually any scale and setting - and this one is certainly special. It's not as difficult as some another mini games in this series, and not the easiest starting point - but from naval help to cave fighting to unit strategies, it's packed with good features and provides deep, challenging video test worthy of a real wargame. Highly suggested!

Anthony Adams: I have most of the titles by Joni and I love them all. Each are various in their own right and have special challenges that surprise me each fresh mini game I download. This apk asks for nothing but a couple of dollars and gives hours of entertainment in return once more and once more. Peter Saragnese: I like this mini game very much. It forces you to be tactically sound- if you are over aggressive, your army will receive slash off and encircled. The shrouded places lends to the "fog of fight" where you don't know what lies ahead of you. My one complaint is that you only have two view options for the map, zoomed in or zoomed out to present the whole island. It would be helpful if you can manually adjust the zoom level so you can view the map at the level you wish.

Sean Winkel: Frankly John Tiller has stolen a march on Joni as much as I hate to say it. When Conflicts was all there was on the shop, I devoured them all,eagerly snapping up each mini game (full paid versions only). But the theaters and the engine have become routine (Kursk I couldn't even be bothered to finished and as thrilled as I was to see Iwo Jima, it quickly turned out to be D Day redux). It's all the same mini game unfortunately. And the Civil Fight entry sealed the deal. Routinely I captured every town on the map. Unhappy.
