  Howdy Doo: Soundbar is connected to my wireless connection network. Soundbar connects, disconnects, and plays tunes over Bluetooth. JBL One will not add my product, even when the soundbar says that it is connected to my smartphone. I have restart the soundbar a couple of times with no luck. I have uninstalled JBL One and reinstalled it once more with no improvement. However, besides JBL One the soundbar updates and plays via Bluetooth as it could. I think that the only feature that doesn't work is streaming melody. Boogers!

  Yoav Erez: Annoying apk. Won't allow me add my Sound Bar unless it's on WIFI. I don't need wireless connection I'm connected with an Ethernet cable! They also need to add more levels to the subwoofer because even at Level 1 it's too loud.

  Amber Redlich: Can't log in to Amazon Melody or Alexa in the apk, though I did receive the speaker added to a group in the Alexa apk. Doosnt mean much because the group will play one song and then stops on the JBL and continues on the Echo alone unless I refresh everything.

  Suomi Peter: Literally simply does not work. It connected one single time, and then lost the connection and should never once more connect to the system. Have tried resetting the connection multiple times, changed WiFi frequencies - nothing. Edit: Apparently the old apk for the previous iteration of the sound bar had the exact same problem, and JBL never fixed it. Clearly JBL doesn't really care for the customers, so if you're reading this, avoid their products unless it's heavily discounted I guess.

  Nisarg Upadhyay: The apk won't allow me connect my bar 500 to it like a lot of another players have complained here. JBL customer service is of no assist either, as they can't figure out why it can not connect with the sound bar. Seems like it is a widespread problem, yet they can't figure out the root cause. What is the point of having an apk that doesn't connect?
