Jiguar apk was developed by Dr. Jigisha Chaudhary, MD Pediatrics, F.A.A.P with contribution from Yichien Su MS CCC-SLP. Through their experience with kids, the professionals realize the importance of early detection and intervention in the field of kid development. The apk contains the Leaper questionnaires for the parents for identifying any developmental delays and concerns from newborns to five years of age (which is the most crucial age in brain development) and it contains the electronic health records portal Jigstar for all professionals in the field of developmental pediatrics. Jiguar Leaper attempts to identify any delays in the child’s five major domains of development- Motor, Behavior, Social, Communication and Cognitive. Key Features Parents can add one or multiple child’s personalized info. The child’s pediatrician can also make the child’s profile for the parents to use for milestone tracking. The parents and their pediatricians can both have access to the child’s Leaper questionnaire and monitor the child’s progress. The pediatrician’s suggestion for the kid is saved and can be viewed by the parent. Parents can access to the future milestone checklist for the child. The milestone questionnaire gets saved as a history and can be reviewed at any time . The use of this apk is NOT a substitute for the use of validated, standardized developmental screening programs as suggested by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Jiguar Jigstar is an electronic medical/health record portal that can be used by all professionals in the field of developmental pediatrics and accessible to child’s parents as well.
