  Jeremy Hall: My daughter loves this apk however the letter formation is only for right handed kids and she is left handed. For that reason I have only given it 4 out of 5. I would give it 5 if a LH letter formation option were added later.

  Lizzy Lewis: Bit disappointed- don't think it was worth £4.99. Bought for my 3 year old daughter to assist teach phonics. The letter tracing requires too much accuracy (even I found it frustrating!) And therefore not suitable for tiny hands who are learning to trace letters. Furthermore, there is an option for left handers and will say you are doing it incorrectly! My daughter started off enjoying the mini game, but quickly got frustrated and upset that she couldn't do the letter tracing.

  Emma Gray: My tiny can't use this, in fact I have tried and it is impossible to trace the letters the apk doesn't let for the slightest discrepancy and it is near on impossible to trace a letter. I can't comment on the rest if the apk because we gave up. I'd like a refund please. I'll test and repurchase for ipso and see if it is any better.

  Kieren Hinch: The apk is poorly structured and frustrating for children. It begins quite well, with a friendly bee prompting the kid to make a fresh personalised flower pot, which my daughter really liked. The flowerpot has a number of flowers, with a petal for each letter, that the kid can unblock as they progress. That's where it falls down though, because it won't unblock the next set of letters until the kid can blend, write and spell words with the current set. For example, the apk introduces the kid to S, A and T and expects them to be able to blend them into syllables and write words with them before it introduces them to P, I and N. I like the method the letters are introduced in groups but this should be done as subsets of multiple stages; pronunciation, blending, spelling and then writing.

  Em Harrison: I love jolly phonics however on inspecting the apk on purchase even I was struggling to trace the letters as you're not allowed to miss the slightest bit. For kids learning to write it is just not going to be awesome enough to be accepted by the apk, and I can see it causing frustration rather than encouragement. Sorry jolly phonics but I am in process of getting a refund as I kind. I would repurchase if the apk is more suitable for beginners as intended **refunds are in my acc click apk name n refund

  Jodie Watson: I'll echo what was said by others - the letter drawing is frustrating for adults, allow alone kids. Plus it's more of a awkward colour in the lines than a shape recognition thing so I doubt it's very educational. It needs a rework. The letter drawing is a large part of the apk, so my child played for a min (enjoying taking a selfie and copying a letter sound) then boom impassable frustration. My child is nearly 4.
