  FANTASTIC. Don't allow Ford monopolize the shop for bicycle sharing in SF. Love this service and the mission behind it. ** UPDATE ** Yay, Jump got the required permit to operate in SF. Like Anwar, I do UberEats delivery, so I need extended borrowing time, not just the 30 minute required for a one-way commute, and much greater coverage place. Ford has the same limitation, as bicycles can't be parked as far as the Marina or Sunset. Hope Jump keeps pace with Ford for affordability (where rides are gratis with EBT). Think they will though. *One word of warning: be attentive riding these. They are quick and massive.* Once more, this company gets two thumbs up.

  Nathan Gamson: JUMP is by far the best dockless bike-sharing service currently existing. It offers the most feature-rich and fulfilling cycling experience, and the squad behind it has done an perfect job deploying and maintaining its fleet. The bikes themselves are very high-quality, durable, and electric, which are very fun to ride, require less physical exertion, and can let for much longer trips, and because of their locking mechanism, don't contribute to urban clutter like limebike, mobike, spin, or ofo. The squad behind jump has done an perfect job deploying the bikes, and they clearly demonstrate respect and consideration for the cities and public infrastructure they operate in, to the point where these bicycles feel like they belong in the town and are a part of our public transportation options. My only criticism is that there are not enough bikes deployed yet, so they're fairly rare; and they should be re-distributed throughout the town more often like how capital bikeshare does it; a lot of bicycles tend to drift towards the outskirts of the town and stay there, making commuting with one difficult.

  Chris Combs: Their onboarding process ain't good. You sign up, enter a password, enter a pin, pay them, THEN they arbitrarily decide to activate your acc when they feel like it. So when you're first looking at a bicycle, you're not gonna ride it--go sign up days beforehand. The bicycles themselves are dodgy too. One of them had only half the buttons working. The another one was cycling random items on its screen (b&w lcd) so quick that in the 25-degree weather none of it was readable. I haven't gotten to actually ride one yet because my acc wasn't activated in time.
