Branislav Mikulka: Classic, cinematic without cutscenes Just go and buy it. One of the cornerstones of action gaming. One of the first mini games we can call cinematic. Jordan Mechner is better in storytelling and exposition in few seconds then large companies today creating hours of cutscenes.

Alan Hickling: Good items Brilliant port of the original love the sound of the disc booting up and different display options..not your fault but karateka never had a block button so method of the exploding fist on c64 still beats this for playability..cheers awesome price too.

Brandon Taylor: Karateka the method it was meant to be played. The controls are more responsive and faster than the original Apple II ver while still maintaining the looks and sounds of that ver. Of course, there's a part of me that wishes they should have or could have used Robert Cook's Commodore 64 ver. (I had an Apple //e growing up, but lately I, like a lot of another retro nerds, have had a sneaking admiration for the C64's graphics and sound.)

Brian Shields: Good classic at a good price! This takes me back to the days of the C=64 and me waggling my joystick in all directions trying to beat up my enemy. It didn't work often, but I had a lot of fun. All of this for under a dollar? How can you go wrong? You can't!

Karateka Nostalgia at its finest. Brings back memories from the 80's and both the Apple ][e and C64.

Doug C: Apart from the important control system change, it otherwise appears identical to the original Apple mini game from ~30 years ago. Still short like before, but still completely enjoyable.

Alishah Novin: Just like the original If you played the original Karateka, you will know just what to expect from this mini game. It is just like the original, with the helpful feature of 'rewinding' to your latest death. If you never finished the mini game before, now is your possibility!
