About the application:

VTech Child Connects lets you hold in touch with your kid even when you are away from home. VTech Child Connect works with VTech's InnoTab® children's tablets* to let children to communicate between their InnoTab®, Android device smartphone or another smartphones. All contacts must be approved by parents before any communication can take put. It's completely secure for your child! NOTE: Child Connect is meant for communication between an InnoTab® and a phone. Phone players cannot add another phone players without an InnoTab® player in the group. WHY USE KID CONNECT? • STAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR CHILD ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. Child Connect uses an Internet connection to allow you communicate with your kid even when you are away from home - anywhere in the globe. Parents can also add family members and mates to the child's Mates List, so grandparents can stay close too. • KID SAFE. All contacts must be approved by parents before communication can take put. Players who are not on a child's Mates List cannot contact your kid. • GOOD FOR ALL AGES! Even the youngest children can use Child Connect to share voice messages**, images**, drawings, stickers, and pre-recorded messages. And as kids grow, they will be able to share text messages too! • GROUP CHAT. With Group Chat, your kid can communicate and share with multiple family members or mates at the same time. • SHARE MOMENTS. Parents can easily share images** or drawings from their kids and post them to social media websites with a single touch. • IT'S FUN! You can customize your Child Connect avatar with your image, or select one of a few cartoon designs. There are also fun stickers and pre-recorded messages. Your kid can even use the voice changer** to record a robot voice or a mouse voice! USING KID CONNECT Parents: One parent will keep a Child Connect ID and password when they register their VTech device. That parent is considered the acc owner and can use this apk to manage their child's Mates List. They can: • Send mate requests on behalf of their kid • Agree or reject mate requests their kid receives The parent who is the acc owner is automatically added to their child's Mates List. The another parent and another family members will have to sign up for a separate acc and be added to their child’s list as a Friend. Other Family Members: You must receive parental approval before you can contact a kid. Once you've signed up for a Child Connect acc, allow the child's parent know your Child Connect ID so they can send you a Mate request. * Child Connect works with InnoTab® MAX and all InnoTab® 3S models only. ** A parent must consent to the Children's Online Privacy Safety Act (COPPA) before their kid is allowed to send images and voice messages.
