Now, she should see a table that was covered by a snowy white table cloth with a splendid dinner service and a steaming roast goose. She lit other match, and found herself sitting under a attractive Christmas tree. There were thousands of candles burning in the green branches and hanging colourful pictures. She once more struck a match versus the wall and, in the brightness, stood her old grandmother. Her grandmother had never appeared so really big or so attractive. She took the tiny girl in her arms and they both flew upwards towards the heavens. In the dawn of the following morning, the awful tiny girl was still huddled in the corner. She had pale white cheeks and her face was smiling. She was still clutching the matches in her hand and been frozen on that latest evening of the year.
