The status bar icon changes based on if KinScreen is keeping the screen on, timing out, or timing out more quickly due to proximity. Jeremy M: Unbelievable after the recent modernize. Modernize seems to offer more smartphone friendly features. Interface now works in smartphone mode, screen on while tilted to a degree, proximity sensor detection. Fast and friendly dev help. I had concerns about the proximity feature, the dev quickly responded and updated the apk to address the problems. I've now purchased pro ver.

Jason Last: I read about this apk somewhere and figured I would test it out. It keeps the screen on by detecting movement. You can also use the "tap to hold screen on" until you turn the screen off yourself. Now I don't have to fiddle with the screen settings all the time. I've been using the apk for a few weeks now and I love it!!
