  A Google user: I've been using this apk a lot and it's easily the best drawing apk out of all I've tried, including Sketchbook Pro. Everything works like I would expect it to in a regular computer art tool, with custom canvas sizes and infinite layers. Clipping is a godsend, the brushes are flexible, and I've had no stuttering, lag, or crashes. The only things I want for are a bigger maximum brush size, a "preserve opacity" layer option, and a less blurry watercolor brush. The fresh options are good!

  A Google user: totally pleasant surprise. I've been screwing around with lots of paint apks for a while, trying to search a method to draw on Nexus 7. There is no lag here. Why would other tool lag on the Nexus 7? We've got Layers here.. as a lot of as you likely need ( I just loaded up 9 ), another apks create you pay to go from 3 to 6. The menus are clear and don't test to be too beautiful. There are gradient-fills, which seem rare in android device paint apks. Totally love it

  James Grimlee: Good apk, has transformed my workflow with illustration work. Does high resolutions and has pressure sensitivity with the Galaxy note 10.1, along with being able to use a lot of layers. Forget the crappy photoshop apk and go with this instead.

  Jose Ruiz: The only thing I would add is the ability to label layers either by name, color, or both. Hold up the awesome work! :D Modernize: after about 4 years, I still haven't found a drawing apk I like better. Would love to see the magic selection program create a move over to the easy UI somewhere, but it isn't too hard to switch back and forth. Absolutely assassin apk and well worth the price of admission.

  Michael Kuneman: Performance is very awesome for 3 dollars. Drawing and coloring heroes are simple with this apk. You can add up a lots of layers and the option of 'clipping layers' helps a lot when magic wand program is not accessible.

  Jessica Emmett: Im an illistrator and use my galaxy note 10.1 for ideas. I use Layer Paint for sketching and line art then I might go into Sketchbook pro for more complex colour. It is real that there are not a lot of brushes, but the ones it come with have a very awesome quility of line helpped by larger cavus sizes and less lag then another apks which I think is sketchbooks down fall. I look forward to seeing how this apk develops with hopes of colour and ui in landscape improvements and the ablity to set a none layered background color. I cant recomend trying this apk enough espically if u have a stylus. Plus undo on the volume is genius.

  Scott Messer: UPDATE: Recent modernize 1.3.0 is unbelievable. A lot of of the features requested have been added. This is now, without a doubt, my go to art apk on android device. Can now work in aliased/anti-aliased linework, draw straight lines, free-form selection (move, scale, rotate, etc..) and a lot of more. Well worth the price for the apk, highly suggested for any artists.

Love the flexibility and customization of the program....brushes, canvas size, layers - things we take for granted - this apk lets you do what you wish with them! No more tolerating with Sketchbook's absurd and embarrassing limitations (or anyone else's for that matter)!!

  Kitsune of Inari: I've used a lot of an art tools with android device for my smartphone. From fresco to autodesk sketchbook pro. None of them were as easy or as simple to use and learn like LayerPaint. The trouble is that the another tools interfaces are either oversimplified or overly complicated. LayerPaint isn't like that. It is easy, yet not overly easy that it removes important features, nor overly complicated that it packs so a lot of features in a very clunky touch interface. It went with a easy idea, how to bring a pc experience to a smartphone. And it's interface shows this, and it handles it with care. I can't assist but message and think the developer was inspired by both microsofts ribbon interface in Microsoft office, and the metro interface in windows 8. And I am not a metro fanatic by any means of the imagination. However the interface just works and it makes drawing fun. I highly highly suggest this apk for anyone that truly loves to draw.

  CJ Jovo: Good tool, however, it needs to have the ability to resize things you choose with the crop/selection program. Sometimes I'll draw something one size, then inadvertently draw something that is supposed to be related but I create it too little (say a person's head or something). Rather than erasing and starting over I'd like to be able to enlarge or shrink objects. Another than that... it's beautiful solid on my Galaxy Note 10.1 and Note 2.

  A Google user: Only just started messing with this on my Galaxy Note 5.3, but the programs are really useful and responsive. It has S Pen calibration--and it worked! That is sooooo cool! Only thing I'd really request is a shape fill program with opacity control (like Soonr Scribble). Modernize: Still like it and use this apk often. Want there was a freehand selection program rather than just the rectangle. I'm dying for SOMEONE to develope a decent watercolor brush for a smartphone. Here's a assassin idea I'll throw out for Layer Paint... how about using the back camera of the mobile phoneltablet as a virtual window to draw on? You should trace the photo in a layer above the camera layer and pick colors in real-time. It would be fun and a good aid in learning to draw from life,

  A Google user: Works like a dream on my note 10.1, even with really big photo sizes. Because of the import/ export feature I search it a much more useful mobile solution than the Photoshop Touch (take note Adobe!) despite less features. Worth every penny and the apk I feel could also be bundled with the note. Naturally I would like the option to make own brushes, name layers etc, but I cannot fault the apk for what it is - a brilliant painting program.

  Raul Levario: The interface is well thought out. Programs are simple to reach and dnt require navigating through multiple menus. Switching colors is a breeeze. Drawing feels fluid,natural. Theres useful settings to improve your workflow, like pro mode. Take the time to receive to know this app(which doesnt take long), and youll realize why its higly praised.You wont search a lot of fancy brushes or extensive brush customization,but the brushes that are there are all you really need in my honest opinion.
