  Yarek Waszul: The only apk for cintiq companion hybrid I was about to trade in my cintiq hybrid for a cintiq13 due to the very very unhappy state of android device painting apks... Then i found the unassuming layer paint. Works very much like Photoshop or clip studio paint. A very well selected, LEAN and PROFESSIONAL featureset -- good brush engine which allows onscreen palette mixing AND access to masks and alpha locks ( woot! ). All laid out in a easy unobtrusive ui without much menudiving. If you use creative suite, manga studio or paint program sai there is no learning curve here. Just good. My only requests are: - ability to close the layers drawer - some more touch oriented features like finger erase - most importantly quicker access to the eyedropper, ie. By using one of the side buttons on the wacom pen. All in all. If you have a cintiq hybrid this is the only apk that makes sense. Everything else I tried was simply a waste of $ despite all the hype.

  Claire K.: Simply Terrific! Its UI makes me forget that I'm using a smartphone. It feels like I have a mini cintiq. The programs are simple to understand, and it hardly has any lags.   Ome Cado: By far the best apk of its type. Good selection of brushes and customization ability. And will only receive better with the regular updates. The fresh brush scripts are good. I bought this apk before medibang paint was even released in English and was only a Japanese apk for concept sketching with limited colors. And I continue to use this apk over it. Being able to make bitmaps for fresh brushes is my favorite part about this apk. As far as I know sketchbook pro does not let the player to do this.

  Sa P: Better than sketchbook Downloaded both sketchbook and Layerpaint and Layerpaint supersedes it by far. You can have more than 100 layers, undo mistakes more than 142 times and you can create your own brushes by loading an photo and messing with the settings. It has a pressure apk and can also can load PSD files. Everything else sketchbook has, Layerpaint has also. Sketchbook just has a really nice clean layout while Layerpaint is kinda clunky, but who cares about that! It earns my far stars. WOoT!! PS, I'm using an Acer Iconia A1

  Riko Watashi: Love it Very awesome apk. I was woried at first, because it didnt register pressure sensitivity on my Tegra Note 7, but then i found you have to turn that feature on first (wich surprised me a bit :D) and now it works beautifully. I especially leve that you can customize the pressure curve to your liking. Only two things missing for me now. Ability to change layer position by draging and text program (prefarably able to use ttf fonts stored on sd card :D). Hold up the awesome work!

  Lachlan Burn: Best digital art apk for the Android device Cintiq Companion smartphone by far. Still suffers from a few annoying interface quirks caused by touch controls, an option to lock the controls for panning/zooming would be very appreciated as it's simple to trigger those accidentally while using the digitizer pen and lose your zoom level or put on the canvas.

  Andrew Kay: Brilliant apk for drawing comics It has now superseded Autodesk sketchbook pro for me, largely because of the selection programs. I do have some moans, but not enough to lose stars... e.g. no method I can search to merge 8 bit layers into a full colour layer. Otherwise good. UPDATE: merging has been improved - such good help!

  Fatima Zia: LOVE IT This apk does everything I wish. My only problem is with the brushes. I want I had a more paint like brush. (More pressure variation control maybe? ) I've been working with watercolor and pen on low opacity with pressure opacity and size but I'd like a smoother brush. Airbrush hasn't been very smooth for me. Everything else is excellent so that's just a little bone to pick, I'd just love to have that so I don't have to go to any another apks at all. I really love working with it on really big canvas sizes on it,. The selection transform program is good. Really satisfied with it! :) (On note pro 12.2)

  Daniel mc beauty: this apk is awsome. you really can make good items with this. please check out on deviant art danfrancis17 and you can see what I have produced from this apk. I have used the apk more of a canvas and just use the stylus to create colour., I have not experimented with effects or the features the apk offers. you can share file and save as photoshop file which in turn allows for good printouts

  Marc Knelsen: Now we're talking! This apk has a lot of potential. When I first ran it, I couldn't assist but message the resemblance to Fire Alpaca, a famous drawing apk for windows/mac. The pen stabilization feature is good (this is the only apk that contains this feature, so congratulations!) and the UI is much better than the previous ver. I'm sure that soon or later the Note 10.1 players (me included) will ask for spen eraser help (samsung has a unique ver of spen that has a eraser in the back) as well as help for the side button. But I know this takes time and will gladly wait for the upcoming improvements. So far, perfect job! Please hold it up! :-)

Any possibility to add a Color layer, so filled with black everything below would present as black and white, and as you lower the opaqeness of that layer, you would be rasing the saturation of the color?   happy Abbey: Good apk! I can work on high res. Photos with very tiny to no lag! Good for an android device smartphone apk. Definately worth the cash. The apk even has an option in setting to decrease viewing res. By 50% to reduce lag and speed up drawing process for higher res. Photos! I am also loving the customizable brushes in this apk, they are attractive! You can also add your own brushes, which is good! I have tried and still test out a lot of another drawing and painting apks and Layerpaint HD always is my go to apk, outperforming the others in so a lot of methods.

In google play shop, there is plugin apk call layerpaint text png builder, that can compliment to give u text creating, and it is help chinese text too. For those who like to draw comic or manga, must have this plugin and the another recommendation apk is work togetger with ifont text apk, give u more fansy text choices.

I hope the developers will add some fresh brushes, but you can type of make your own brushes but playing around with the settings. Well worth it for painting

  Nirut Tamchoo: Best for Manga style illustration! Excellent toolset and ui scale option is a must!! It packs of power allow me paint with no trouble on high resolution canvas (6000x3600) and still be able to add lots of layers (45layers). The stroke for the really big sized brush (over 250 pixel) is still awesome on such really big canvas! Need the Blur brush and smudge brush ! But I am very glad working with this apk!!

This apk is method better then ur original I love it but the only thing bothering me is that when I test to fill the second layer with a color the fill paint only fills what I drew on the first layer?! Can u fix it or can u create a second fill paint icon that allow u fill the layer without reacting with the first layer or any of the layers y just wondering. Oh n then pen speed is a tiny slow Im useing a samsung galaxy note 8.0 wondering if u can fix the bugs on that but out of anything Im very good ful

  Michael St. Clair: My go to drawing apk... ...Just got better. Line smoothing is flexible and practically a necessity when drawing on a smartphone. LPHD has the cleanest interface, much improved over the non-HD ver. Works flawlessly on my Galaxy Note 3.
