LectureVideos is a screencast extension to LectureNotes for video and audio recording while taking handwritten notes using LectureNotes. It has been designed while having a player at university (or at school) in mind, for instance a lecturer who is using it for producing guide videos or for recording her/his lecture while teaching using LectureNotes (by writing on the device and projecting the screen content for the audience) or a student who is using it to prepare guide videos for fellow students. However, it has a lot of potential apks outside university, for instance in business or technology. Its major target devices are tablets with Android device 4.1 or later. NOTE: LectureVideos cannot be used on its own, it is designed to serve as an extension for LectureNotes and can only be used in conjunction with it. If you want to record video and audio while taking handwritten notes, begin LectureNotes and begin video and audio recording there, the video and audio files will be stored within the corresponding notebook directory. LectureVideos uses the Android device MediaCodec API that became accessible with Android device Jelly Bean to encode video and audio, so that Android device 4.1 or later is needed. It has been carefully inspected on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, an Asus Nexus 7, a Samsung Nexus 10, and an Asus MeMO Pad. However, since the behaviors of the Android device MediaCodec differ significantly between devices, LectureVideos might not work on a given device. LectureVideos entirely relies on the Android device MediaCodec and does neither include any codecs nor any another encoding, decoding, multiplexing, or demultiplexing code (mainly to avoid legal problems). Major features: * requires only minimal permissions and no internet connection (we do respect your privacy!) * allows display content and audio signals to be recorded while taking handwritten notes using LectureNotes (root permissions not needed) * allows recorded display content and audio signals to be replayed using LectureNotes * allows recorded display content and audio signals to be multiplexed into an MP4 container file using LectureNotes (devices with Android device 4.3 or later only) Possible problem: For awesome audio quality, it is advisable to use an external microphone, in particular when taking notes with a stylus with a hard advice in parallel (the noise that the advice causes on the device display and human voices are in the same frequency range and the former cannot be filtered away reliably).

Vanquishedangel: I have lecture notes, lecture recordings, and now lecture videos. These apks are priceless for me as a student, although these are clearly ground breaking apks for students using android device and they should cost more, the prices are super cheap (thank goodness). I have one recommendation, an apk for flashcards for studying or making speeches that also attaches to the note ebook. I just found there is even a camera option to take pictures within the note ebook (good for snapping pics of ebook pages and reading later)

Jeff Watts: I've been using this apk to record some educational videos, and as a lot of others have said, it's a terrific apk. I mainly wish to comment on the help I received from the developer. Recently, I encountered a trouble with the apk on my somewhat-uncommon smartphone. I reported the error notice I was receiving via email to the developer, and I received a answer back in less than 24 hours. He send me a debug ver of the app to install on my smartphone and asked me to send him the log file output so that he should debug the trouble. Long story short, he resolved the trouble within about 24 hours and created plans for an immediate modernize to the apk shop. I felt that this was superior customer service for an apk that I paid so tiny for. I've evaluated a lot of various options for online course/lecture recording, and this one is the best. I hope that you will buy this apk and help this terrific developer.

Mike Jackson: As a teacher, I have been hunting for a way to use the s-pen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to make recorded "lessons" for my students, and this is the reply! With lecturenotes and the recordings and videos add-ons (total cost $8.38 CDN) , I can record a complete explanation and then post the effect to Youtube or otherwise share the video. At the moment, getting the video and audio stream to ones PC and then to Youtube or elsewhere for sharing is not that simple, but I am sure we will have a awesome workflow soon. The author is responsive and helpful. This was one kind of apk I had on my iPad that I was still looking for an Android device ver for. Now I have it and am very satisfied! I have found two various methods that work for muxing the video and audio, but neither is super simple yet. But it WORKS! :) For me this makes the Samsung Note 10.1 a dynamite teacher student program.

kostaspamp: There used to be a large delay in navigating the recodings but now its impruved, so i changed my rating from 3 to 5. It would be awesome if u should also begin the lecture notes apk with the multytask feature of some tablets and take extra notes on things u miss during the lecture.

Nipuna Jayatunge: It's got loads of functionality. I use this to create guide videos for my students. Customizability is good. I'd like it if we should save our handwriting as a vectorized pdf, but this is a minor prrsonal preference thing, the photo quality is not awful by any means.

Vladimir Santalov: Good screencasting apk. I use it to write down school lectures along with my professor's voice (awesome idea to receive a professor's permission first). This method you can practically relive the lecture afterwards or even share it with your buddy who skipped the class (might have to multiplex it first). I used a livescribe pen before but this apk is method better since you receive to record items with all the functionality the lecturenotes has to offer. Create sure you sit at the front row in class. Glaxy note mic sucks at picking up voice at a really big distance.

Ravi Chandran: Unbelievable apk for short video. Not suitable for long videos (40 minute, 1 hr etc) since conversion to MP4 takes long time (which drains battery more). Major drawback is no pause recording. If anything went wrong while recording, you need to begin once more from the beginning. Developers pls add pause recording. (Lensoo make apk have pause recording feature) Also add editing feature of recorded video. Then yours no 1.
