About the application:

The objective is to tutorial a group of lemmings through a number of obstacles to a designated exit. Bashers: Bashers can punch through walls at a horizontal angle. Miners: Miners can mine through the ground at a 45 degree angle. Diggers: Diggers can dig through the ground at a vertical angle.
