About the application:

LockOnMe is a location-sharing apk, displaying tracked targets and/or associated Points Of Interest (POIs) on maps & fun radars. Use it to shop and share your POIs or position in style, in a special and elegant method: with a Target ID and a Tracking Code – which can be made freely from the phone apk without a player acc. Nice and easy! You can use LockOnMe on your own to locate your POIs (list of websites, waypoints, parked vehicle...), or with others to track their position and/or POIs (meeting points, etc.). Organisations can publicise different sets of POIs, using target info such as DistrictX / cantinas, DistrictX / public gardens, etc. 2 main functionalities: TRANSMISSION-- broadcast your position on and off at your chosen interval and/or define POIs (you can select among a wide selection of icons, add a note and link to an photo URL), using your selected Target ID & Tracking Code, which you can both change at will and share on a need-to-know basis TRACKING-- track another targets from their Target ID & Tracking Code, so as to view their position in true time (or at least their recent broadcast) and/or POIs Special features: - choice of display: monitor the place of targets and POIs either from the phone apk – on a map, Marine Radar or a very unique "Motion Tracker" (inspired by the film Aliens) – or from the web apk at lockonmeapp.com/map - modular place find: designate fixed positions obtained from place text find, geographic coordinates (lat,lon / MGRS), or DTMF signals over the radio - flexibility: make as a lot of Target IDs and Tracking Codes as you need, so as to shop and potentially share your POIs and/or place on a need-to-know basis - privacy: target info and positions are not shared with third parties; place history is not stored, insofar as the recent position broadcast immediately replaces the one stored on the server - non-intrusive: LockOnMe always appears as a notification in the status bar - battery-saving: ability to choose the interval at which to broadcast the position when the apk runs in the background Tutorial, tracking maps, additional details: LockOnMeApp.com
