  Josh Fyfe: Good So far, never had any problems. The only thing to note is that some updates require a little file to be downloaded, which you are not prompted to do untill you begin the apk. I would suggest opening the apk befor heading for the bush, to avoid any potential problems due to lack of cell reception.

  A Google User: One of the best mapping aps. Well worth the cash. Can't say enoug awesome things about it, it's simply one of the best aps on the shop and I tried a lot of. One thing it's lacking though (just as most of another related aps) is the ability to calculate the route withOUT the need for internet access. I would give it more stars if I should and pay additional if this can be implemented, perhaps as an addon for the additional, $$$. This is where Nokia phones with their tool and standalone GPS devices do better.

  Sher Fulker: Not intuitive but strong A guide would be SO helpful, but I'm trying! I'm motivated because MyTracks failed on me and this is the best I've found for recording tracks and their data. I paid for it because it can do so much, but I have a feeling it will take me hours to figure it all out. For example, how do I receive the road labels not to shrink to illegibly little size regardless of zoom level? I do love the geocaching add-on and the offline and vector map functions. That's probably worth the cash right there.

  A Google User: Best mapping solution I can search I upgraded to the paid ver when I discovered that this apk can calculate routes using UK footpaths. I'm not aware of any another apk that can do this and it's worth the licence fee for that alone. Everything else works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my Nexus 7.

  Peter Kaasschieter: My Favorite Maybe just a matter of private taste. I tried the lot, from MotionX on iPhone to Locus on Android device. Search it essential to be able to use any gps apk offline (which by the method is only patially real for MotionX) since I tend to go into places that have either 3G nor WiFi. In the end I came to Locus and Orux and like Locus the most.
