  Troy Dalton: I was beginning to give up on useful programs to assist develop directly on my smartphone! Because of health reasons, I cannot sit at my PC for long periods of time. I write using AIDE, then do my final compiles on my computer. This apk has been the greatest assist of any another program I've used (not just log readers). Thanks SCDevs! I especially like the ability to call the apk from my code. Logcat Extreme is nothing short of good! Hold it up. I look forward to fresh, innovative features. I do accept with another reviewers that "per-app" would be very useful in the floating viewer, though.

  Chuck Taylor: I found this by accident... installed the "gratis" ver and did not receive the colors to stay. The purchased ver claimed to "unblock" some "another" features so I bought it... thinking that the paid for ver would hold the colors. I have looked all over for some directions on how to hold the colors. They only flash in some of my screen changes and then it goes all green. The colors, which I thought were separating out the various ops do NOT stay in the two Logcat Extremes that I have tried. I'm sure it is something easy and this appears to be a good apk. So even with my unhappiness I will give it a 4. It will receive a 5 IF you can tell me how to hold my colors. Smartphone is HTC ReZound -- OS is Unofficial CyanogenMod 11.0 Thanks, -Chuck Sorry... complained to soon. Colors are in the saved logs. You receive 5.

  Ibn Batuta: 1) No method to specify custom path for saved log files (doesn't even say where it stores those internally) Thus you always risk running out of memory on your device, which would truly cause serious issues. 2) No method to cyclically delete old log files (round robin delete). With that you should hold this apk running in the background, to catch the odd crash and/or infrequent system failures. W/o that you will eventually fill up all your internal memory with log files. 3) Various color schemes for texts of various notice classes. 4) Storage of log files in compressed form, so you can shop larger files. 5) Autostart to collect logs at boot time 6) Separate action button/widget for gratis floating log window (takes to long to receive to it through the menu)

  Razvan Eduard: in floating mode; if it's a pro advertised feature it could work in all mode (floating or normal). Also, find is inconsistent between normal and floating mode: when searching for something in normal mode doesn't search anything whereas searching for the same thing in floating mode some entries are found.

  Szabolcs H: begin logcat >> log.txt from terminal window, that will do the job, this apk doesn't! EDIT: apk won't log above 64k lines which was necessary for me to detect reason of freezing. log splitting is also buggy. won't reset after OS reboot... etc.
