  Sri Mallur: Loving it. Simple and fun method to invest. Love the idea of pies. Can have multiple pies and allocate percentage of contribution to each pie and customize contribution to each stock in each pie. So, for pie with riskier stock reduce allocation. Loving it.

  I love being in control of my own investments! Another platforms have preselected funds that aren't the highest performers. Also a lot of people don't have the cash to safe securities all at once. Now they don't have to. Although I would love to see OTC securities accessible for purchase as well. There are a lot of awesome investments on OTC. But that's not enough to steer me away from M1. Hold up the awesome work!!!☺👍

  Chuck Tickle: Love the apk. Super simple for beginners to begin putting their cash to work. Best robo-option I found if you wish to own individual companies as well. Really simple to customize your holdings based on preference and risk tolerance. Research is lacking and no tax loss harvesting or the platform would be excellent.

  Greg Rubenian: M1 Finance is one of those rare investing apks that does exactly what it advertises. The features are simple to use and the apk has a really clean interface. I like how the apk is gratis to use for the first $1,000. This is an ingenious method for first time investors such as myself to test-drive the apk. M1 Finance allows you to find up any stock or ETF that is traded on the NYSE. You can then add your desired stocks or ETFs to your portfolio and allocate a percentage to them. There is absolutely no fee or commission for adding stocks or ETFs. You can add and remove as a lot of times as you want and you will not pay anything for doing so. This can save you a lot of cash compared to any fund family such as Fidelity or Vanguard. Other benefit is that the apk buys fractional shares of everything so it is inexpensive to receive invested into the stock shop. The fees for the apk begin to kick in once you surpass $1,000 in your portfolio. The fees are very straightforward and simple to calculate. I like how M1 Finance is honest with their fees. They don't hide anything from you. Overall, if you wish to receive into investing without forking over a lot of initial capital, I would give M1 Finance a test. You only need $100 to begin!

  Arnie Horton: Better than Betterment! Probably one of the best (and the only) hybrid robo advisor/broker apks I have come across. You can completely customize your portfolio rather than being limited to a little number of preselected ETFs. I like that it has a pre built socially responsible option, as well as letting me select individual solar, wind, and green energy stocks and ETFs. The only feature I would like to see included is the ability to trade mutual funds. I would also suggest lowering the $100 minimum initial deposit to perhaps $10 to create it more accesible for newbie and little dollar investors to receive started with the platform. Otherwise a unbelievable investing apk.
