Macronos is the easiest method to receive melody playing on Sonos. You can configure shortcuts on the Home screen to play media of your choice. To receive started just begin Macronos and press the plus icon in the title bar. Choose melody, choose users, set volume and save the macro. It will then be added to your Home screen as a shortcut. For detailed instructions, see the player guide: https://sites.google.com/a/youtec.dk/macronos Features: * Pause or fade-out Sonos users when you create or keep smartphone calls. * Wi-Fi play - Starts playback when arriving home. * Megaphonos - Turns your device into a Sonos megaphone. * NFC mark help. Begin melody with NFC tags. * Android device Audio to Sonos - Streams all Android device audio to Sonos. (Only with ROOT + KITKAT or newer) * Stream melody from Dropbox to Sonos. * Podcast help. Plays recent or specific podcast on Sonos from RSS feed. * 'Control' shortcut. From 'Control' you have access to the most common controls, existing macros and melody. Hide users with parental control. Maximum volume levels. * Alarm feature to run a macro at a given time or repeating. * Controls multiple households. * Tasker, Locale, Llama (Locale plugin) integration for automated Sonos control. Support for streaming all Android device audio to Sonos [ROOT]: * Only for rooted devices running KitKat (4.4.2) or newer. * It supports different melody apks. * If you are using a third party ROM like CM 11, then it is not guaranteed to work. (If it doesn't work, then you can receive a refund. Hints: * Make "Sonos Favorites" with the melody from your melody services (Spotify, Rhapsody, Google Play Melody etc.) to be able to configure a macro to play it. * Put the smartphone on the NFC mark just before pressing the Save button. Then press Save when "NFC mark detected" is displayed. * For radio melody services you begin the station and choose it using the Now Playing menu when configuring a macro. * When selecting Podcasts from the Melody menu, choose the menu on the right and select "Use recent podcast". Matt Thomas: This is a good apk. Love the ability to fade melody when the smartphone rings, stop all Sonos (large deal as sometimes the Sonos apk won't begin). Almost forgot to mention, the cast help for Google play melody works good. Still playing with the tasker integration. Some of the Sonos third party integrations, Amazon for instance, are hard to receive to. Overall suggested for anyone that has a Sonos system, cheap apk, I'd pay double for the functionality.

Nick Jones: My HTC One X crashes if I adjust the volume on the side of my smartphone when using Macronos. The developer replied to my comment about this, explaining that I just need to adjust the volume from within the Google Play apk. Now that I know this, I have changed my review to 5 stars, as the apk is an absolute godsend for Sonos players who use Google Play. FANTASTIC!!!!

Tony Taijeron: Good help by the developer, fixed the only minor problem I had with the apk. Apk works good, streams wonderfully from mine and my wife's S3's....but the problem we have that we cannot search a method to clear the queue of songs. When we add fresh songs to a playlist, then add that playlist to be played, there are now multiples. Fix this and it would be a 5

John Fitzgerald: Packed with usefull features, simple to use. One touch access to my most commonn configurations. You can even set it up so the melody fades out when the smartphone rings, and fades back in when you hang up, method cool! Also lets you stream from droid , I had some problem with that, but the tech help is TopNotch so it's all awesome! Bottom line, it's worth every penny! - John

Richard Gluga: Works excellent on my pixel 2. Love it! Sonos could really have this baked into the native apk... This is such a awesome method to configure things! One button to do different complex tasks that take multiple screens in native apk. I configure these macros on everyone's smartphone in the house to create things dead simple. "Just press this to play that children album at a reasonable volume on all speakers". So now my significant another can stop putting a CD in our computer and play it through the computer speakers...

Kristoff Doneit: google play melody in my collection plays ok, however trying to use the casting option from within google play melody does not. It doesn't matter what song I test, it just keeps failing and telling me it can't play the song. I wish to give this apk a high rating, but this is the main reason I bought this apk. Please assist. Modernize 01/23/14: The developer got in touch with me regarding these problems, while I still occasionally receive the above problem, it seems to be mostly fixed. This is definitely the best apk accessible to stream google play melody to SONOS. Now if you should do the same with Youtube and VLC, this would be a assassin apk! :)

Dan Mudge: I had been connecting my Nexus 7 into the line in of my Sonos to receive access to Google Play Melody (All Access) which has a lot of limitations. This apk lets you stream directly from the Google Melody apk which is even better than having access to Google Melody through the Sonos apk.

Steve Dark: Good apk. One touch short cuts to begin a play list in a room are very neat, as is having an icon to group all rooms. What would really take this apk to other level though would be IFTTT (If This Then That) integration, through which Sonos should then be controlled by Google Home or any one of a lot of another devices. Hopefully this will come soon...
