  Amber Boas: This apk is good! I've been using others like MyMacros and MyFitnessPal for a while now but never liked either of them. I decided to look for something better and discovered Macros First. Wow, what a night and day difference in terms of user-friendly features! I love being able to add things to my "kitchen" in the apk and search *my* stuff easily and clearly when I find. I love how the apk converts anything to grams for you if you select. So much better than the another apks!

  Scott Wattum: If all you're looking for is to count macros, this is the apk! It does take some usage to explore all the features, but well worth the time. I like being able to make a recipe and then consume a portion of it - makes it super easy, just build your recipe (the bar code feature is good and the database well populated), then portion out the final product for your meal(s). After using it for one day I upgraded to bonus; the apk is really that good!

  A Google user: This apk has created food prep so simple. I'm on the RP diet and the hardest part for me was always figuring out the meal quantities required to hit my carbs and fat goals for each food and with this apk it's so simple. Now I just select my foods, punch in my goals, and it tells me the serving size per meal needed to hit each meal's goals. The app's meal database is also super helpful to search fresh foods and not have to mess around with entering each one manually. I also love that I can edit each food's macros to adhere to RP's rules as important. The ability to save and find for each food that I make is key and makes it simple to stick to my templates throughout the day and as I progress through the tabs. All in all I search this apk super simple to use and incredibly helpful to calculate my macros to stick to my diet.

Features I personally love contain: ability to scan barcode, make your own meal if it's not listed and the percentages create it simple to track your progress. Good apk. It needs a few things but it's far better than the another apks. 1) Need a feature to average the macros for the week. 2) Need a bigger library of foods with more accurate macros. 3) After entering the initial weight (g, oz, ml), if I go back to adjust due to eating changes or errors, I can't adjust the weight way. I have to delete the whole thing and begin over. Large problem, most frustrating. 4) Need fast share snapshot feature of everyday totals.

  Mindy Parsons: Looks fine but not what I need. I've installed and added my breakfast stuff, ok. The UI looks ok. But I need to be able to add my calories burned from my workouts and this doesn't have that. This is my largest problem with all these meal tracking apks. I have a super hard time figuring out if my eating is on target because I work out nearly everyday so am constantly burning calories and need to lose fat.

  A Google user: I started using MacrosFirst to track my meal because I found MFP to be too bulky and cumbersome. Give it a test! Pros: * You can enter macro goals per food * You can have a saved meal list so if you always eat the same things you don't have to be annoyed with scrolling through dumb lists * You can set macro goals by day so non training versus training days have their own profile. * Shows how a lot of macros you have left * Interface is clean and easy Con: *It's a beautiful fresh apk so there may be places they are still improving.

  A Google user: went thru about 10 various apks to assist with a keto plan, unistalled all till this one. I didn't wish just a calculator, didn't wish one with quanities i couldn't adjust. I wanted to populate my own meal list and without paying for it, finally this one performs wonderfully, has a nice meal find database too. so we'll use it, that being said don't know long term how it will perform yet, but so far so awesome. This is poorly designed.

  A Google user: Looooove it so far. Was previously using a gratis easy apk which was good but had to manually enter EVERYTHING. Love the scanning feature and the database has everything I've required. Was able to recreate my meals and recipes in under an hour. LOVE being able to set various macro goals for various meals. It's also good that you can rename everything that's scanned, that method it's not all listed under the brand! Nice touch. Thanks for making food planning so much faster! Definitely a fanatic. You guys really thought of everything.

What I would love to see in an modernize of MacrosFirst is set a weigh in and select what days you wish to weigh in on, hold track of statistics, and have a better break down on your macros. IE: present what you got to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc....
