Now, out-of-town relatives or business-travelling parents can follow every mini game live, and you can even send a cheer to the squad! It’s almost as awesome as being at the rink (concession stand coffee not included!) BECOME AND EXPERT STATISTICIAN All the statistics and plays entered during a mini game are tabulated in real-time, giving your squad an instant analytical advantage. And the Angry Puck advantage doesn’t stop when the final horn sounds: you can view individual mini game statistics, cumulative season statistics, and splits, all generated from the crowdsourced data collected during each game. TRACK STATS AND PLAYS The mini game is on the ice, but Angry Puck is fueled by the hockey family in the stands. Parents, mates, and volunteers can select which types of plays or statistics they wish to track for each mini game (such as faceoffs, shots on goal, goals, or penalties). It’s a real crowdsourced data collection model: you can work together as a squad to track every play, while still enjoying the game. PARENTS Parents can manage attendance for their user, see the full mini game statistics, or track their player’s progress throughout the year with cumulative stats. COACHES Coaches can use real-time statistics to assist inform in-game decisions, or highlight places for improvement at their next practice. And, coaches no longer need to spend hours inputting and generating cumulative statistics after every mini game. Less busy work means more time dedicated to the craft of coaching. We love the mini game of hockey, and we love developing tool solutions that create your life easier. ​In early 2019, we set out to develop an apk that would let parents, relatives, and mates to hold updated with mini games they couldn’t attend in person. But it was also necessary to spread out mini game tracking, so that no one person was responsible for tracking every happening. The effect is an apk that stays real to the values of hockey: building something of substance, all while having fun! We've inspected Angry Puck with a few squads over the 2019-2020 hockey season, and we’re excited to allow another squads be a part of the Angry Puck experience in 2020-21.
