Magium is a text journey mini game related to old Select your own story ebooks (CYOA), in which you play as an ordinary guy named Barry, who joins a deadly mage competition versus the most strong mages in the globe in the hopes of using the prize to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a mage himself. As in all interactive novels, your choices will affect the story, and making wrong choices can even lead to your death. Besides the traditional choice making of regular Select your own path mini games, Magium also has statistics that you can make batter with points that you will keep occasionally, throughout the mini game. These statistics will be checked by the mini game from time to time, to see if they are high enough to let you to perform certain actions. For example, if your ancient languages stat is high enough, you can understand what animals and creatures are saying. The story of Magium starts at the beginning of the competition, right after you and all the another participants were transported to the continent where the contest was taking put, and it is set in a medieval fantasy setting, with a dash of futuristic looking magical devices, which are relics of an ancient, technologically advanced civilization that crumbled hundreds of years before the beginning of the series. The globe in which the story takes put is somewhat inspired from Dungeons and Dragons, so if you've played D&D before, you will likely search some similarities, especially regarding the magic system. As the story progresses, you will meet with another participants, you will create mates and opponents, and you will search out more about the continent you are on, and its inhabitants. You will search out that a person called "The Creator" had established a few utopias in this put, six hundred years ago, where animals and humans lived in harmony, and meal was made through magic. What you will receive to see, however, is the downfall of these utopias, some of them being on the brink of destruction. Your choices will influence what happens in these cities, and you can even select to save them if you so desire. The mini game will be divided into six or seven ebooks, each of them consisting of more than a hundred thousand words. The first ebook is now accessible in its entirety, and it can be played for gratis. It is approximately 178k words long, which translates to about 700 ebook pages. This number also takes into acc the story's branching paths. The length of a playthrough on average could be about 90k words, so about 350 ebook pages. The second ebook is now accessible in its entirety, but the next ebooks have not been written yet, and they will be published chapter by chapter, as I write them. Unlike the first ebook, the second one will need to be unlocked before it can be played, and it will be the same for the next ebooks as well. In order to unblock the second ebook, you will either need to complete 25 of the 35 accessible achievements, or pay to unblock it. All of the next ebooks will also be unlockable in the same way. The second ebook is 277k words in total, on all paths, which translates to about 1100 ebook pages. On one path, you could be seeing around half of those words, so roughly 140k, which would translate to 550 ebook pages or so. Mini Youtuber: I love it!!!! The story, the heroes, the choices, and the Suspense!!!! The only downside is that you have to complete all the objectives to unblock ebook 2 or you have to pay for it....... You could just create it so you can read the second ebook. I was angry that I had to go back and achieve all the achievements!!!! I got so angry I just uninstalled it!!! If you can can you just create it gratis so you can read the 1st ebook then immediately receive to the 2nd ebook? I will reinstall the mini game if you answer to this review and tell me you did what I requested. Please do what I request!!!! I wish to read the 2nd ebook and see what happens without having to pay for it or do something that will take time and effort. By the time I'm done achieving all the achievements most people will probably forget what happened. Just please recommend what I requested.

Samintrusion822 /#Chris#/: Although I am pissed/annoyed at Barry(MC) at times, his personality is believable and not breaking my immersion. And, I love how varied my experiences are depending on what I've done and decided to do. I also like the fact that we can do this w/o the use of statistics, albeit being excruciatingly difficult. I am grateful for making this mini game gratis as well, it's very hard to search a gamebook as awesome as this (and for gratis, too, like wow!) The advertisements breaks the immersion a bit, but nonetheless I quite have fun it, really have fun it.

Moskee: A good mini game and a good story! The author has made a unbelievable story that should easily become a high selling novel, the choices create it that much better and the special stat device is good!! One thing i would like to ask however, should there be more checkpoints? Even in the middle of chapters, it gets tedious at the end of the chapter when you die and have to begin the whole chapter over... another than that I loved it!! I honestly can't wait for the full release of the whole story, it's going to be entertaining I can tell!!

Jay Reezy: If you're wondering if this is worth the download, then dont worry. It is. I had finished the first ebook and gotten through what was accessible of the second ebook (I paid because the author is well deserving of the help) The story itself is very well written especially considering it takes put in a fantasy setting that a lot of feel is a well that is too often visited, despite this the author has succeded in creating a globe and rich heroes that you cant assist but love, and immerse yourself in.

Krunox Kinzo: Thank you for the answer and the solution though I already figure out a not-so-boring solution which was to begin from Chapter 1 and read everything from scratch(I don't mind, it's fun!!). But damnit, lol. The mini game crashes and closes for like a myriad times and eventually I lose all my save mini game the very next time I begin it. I hope I don't have to re-re-re-re-restart everything from scratch once more. HAHAHA, I DON'T MIND AT ALL!! XD Did I mention that my purchase is gone as well???
