There are lots of Vedic recitations, too, which are good and I like listening to Sama Veda before I go to sleep at night and search it very soothing. The lectures by Maharishi and another experts on consciousness are very interesting. I strongly suggest this apk. It's simple to navigate, too.

  Jaan Suurküla: Perfect material. Unbelievable melody. Attractive vedic recitations performed in the authentic method restored by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The bugs that a few former reviewers have complained of seems to be gone as it has worked ok every day since over a month (it was a nice ambition to create these good gems accessible as soon as possible, even if the apk was not yet perfected).

  Julie Chamberlain: I have been enjoying Gandharva Veda for a lot of years, I used to buy it on cassette tape, then CD, and now to have it all on my smartphone is nothing short of a miracle! I no longer have to work out the best melody for the time of day, because the apk does that for me. Also the range of instrumentation on offer is abundant, and the shenai is my favourite. On top of all this, the subscription fees help the groups of vedic pandits who are creating harmony in globe consciousness. This apk is a win/win/win! Thanks to all who made it.

  Kurt Freiburg: It is unbelievable to have Ghandarva Ved melody accessible continuously. But...the apk itself is not run very well. Be aware that once you begin it will play without any input. So your smartphone may be playing melody at inopportune times. There is no "wireless only" option, so it will consume some 4G data. Largest trouble is for the latest few weeks there have been no midday ragas. You're left high and dry. It seems no one is paying attention.

  Jill Burt: It worked good for a year. Then it suddenly stopped. Just a blank page. Apk Help came up with a couple of recommendations, none of which did any awesome. Fortunately it still works on an old smartphone so I'm not yet cancelling my subscription. Modernize. It has now failed on my smartphone too. So I am cancelling my subscription. It's a pity. I was enjoying it very much.

Uses 5 times more data than Spotify and Pandora combined. Questions: Is there a method to dowload the content to use it off-line? Also, can it be programmed to run 24/7 without it stopping every hour? Thank you. JGD
