About the application:

This result is inspired by the popular silkscreen paintings by American pop artist Andy Warhol. After Marilyn Monroe’s death, Pop Art founder Andy Warhol (1923 – 1987) spent four months making silkscreens based on a publicity still of Monroe from her movie, “Niagara.” Fusing art with mass production, Warhol made brilliantly colourful multiples of her photo. Fascinated by morbid topics and celebrity, he symbolized Monroe’s mortality, and her media saturation through brash, assembly-line reproductions of her face.
