About the application:

Mars Community Builder allows players to discover the possibilities and challenges of establishing a self-expanding permanent base on Mars. This simulator allows players to learn about Mars and take part in a step-by-step building process that should one day create an interplanetary community a reality. Building a base on Mars will require a dozens of modules and equipment to provide services to the astronauts and to produce meal, fuel, water, energy, and oxygen that is needed to sustain community building efforts. The first part of your mission is to learn about the various types of equipment at your disposal. Pay close attention to the characteristics and features of the modules and equipment. You will have an occasion to discover all place modules individually using VR and AR technology. In part two of your mission, you will use Augmented Reality, AR technology to place your equipment knowledge to the try. Here, you’ll assemble your own community. Carefully select the equipment to lay out your own community. When you’re finished, your Mars community will be evaluated for sustainability.
