About the application:

The annual MAS LA Convention takes put in Southern California Thanksgiving Weekend. The convention was developed with Tarbiya in mind. Tarbiya is an Arabic term that refers to the process of educating, nurturing, and developing individuals, groups, and societies. Tarbiya is a continuous positive influence that leads to growth in all aspects - intellectual, spiritual, and physical - and the development of skills, talents and abilities. Tarbiya is the hallmark of the MAS model. It is our focus on Tarbiya that makes us truly unique. Each aspect of the convention focuses on developing the individual in order to make a more perfect society. In keeping with this one-of-a-kind philosophy the MAS Convention also has a few special aspects: -An Enriching Happening for the Whole Family The MAS Convention has a specifically-designed, meticulously-prepared tool for every age group. This year the Convention has full childcare, Children Club (1 year to 2nd grade), Camp Deen (3rd - 6th Grade), Young Youth (7th - 9th Grade), Youth (10th grade - 12th grade), College, and a Main Adult Tool in English, Arabic, Spanish and Turkish languages. From toddlers to the elderly, every attendee will search a tool tailored to their specific needs and interests. -Powerful Programming Each MAS Convention has a strong line-up of wold-renowned Muslim Scholars, Speakers, and Entertainers.
