This tutorial works 100% without needing mobile smartphone reception or Internet access. The offline maps are very detailed, present the Mawson Trail, present where you are via GPS, have contour lines, and are marked up with huts you can stay in, camping places, towns, alternative accommodation and a lot of points of interest. As you ride along the trail, the Apk shows you how far you are from territories like huts and towns and has an interactive elevation graph so you can see what hills are between you and places.
