  A Google user: Love that I can control my washer and dryer from my smartphone!! Such a cool feature! I will accept with another reviewers that it took a ton of assist from customer service to actually receive the apk and appliances connected BUT they persevered (after I had given up) and now everything is working perfectly!! Finally. Now, if they should just fold the laundry and place it away, I'd be all set!!!

  Sharon Rousseau: Apk worked perfectly. Got connected easily. Just got my washer and dryer today. I read previous postings that the apk didn't work well. I'll post later if I have problems. If it continues to work properly, I'd be glad to spend $12 a year to save time checking if it's done.

  Mr. S: Not sure about all these people having issues This apk works just ok... You have to be a complete idiot to have issues with the apk... My only complaint is that the tool modernize for the unit... It doesn't say what it addresses so I know if I wish to modernize it or not... Or if it was an modernize for the apk or the unit itself. But I have full control of the dryer through the apk not sure what the others gripe is... But hey maytag create it gratis after 6 months or I won't be using it..

  Jessica Walker: I have just started using the apk, as I just got my fresh appliances (which I'm so excited about!) I did the installation without my husband because I was so excited, and within 10 mins of running the dryer the apk alerted me to a trouble with the venting! so I was able to quickly fix it and continue on with the cycle! I'm running the washer for the first time now, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the apk works with it!

  Heather Chinchar: Since the modernize I can no longer see and set cycles from my smartphone. Please fix it!! UPDATE: I called and they were able to fix it. Disconnect your appliance (press and keep remote enable button until it's at 0) then uninstall, reinstall, reconnect, close apk, begin apk. Much better, trouble is fixed!!

  A Google user: UPDATE 3: I changed back to 5 stars because I think the reason it wasn't working was because I didn't turn on the remote enable on the machines. I'm wondering if it times out after a certain amount of time? For now it seems to be working good, so I stand by my suggestion.
