The Third Chapter in the Mega Man Saga Defeated by Mega Man and shown the error of his methods, Dr. Wily renounces evil and helps Dr. Light develop the heavy robot "Gamma." Mega Man 3 was the first mini game in the series to feature the now-familiar robot dog, Rush! Built to aid in all tactical situations, Rush can transform into a jump pad, a jet, or a submarine! SLIDING Mega Man 3 also introduced sliding to the series. Some narrow places can only be navigated by sliding through them! Hold down + jump while playing to slide. You can also use this technique to move quickly and dodge attacks! MODES This ver features a choice of two difficulty modes. ・Normal Mode - (Infinite continues) The continue screen is displayed whenever Mega Man dies. Choosing Continue allows you to reset from the latest checkpoint you passed in the current stage. ・Hard Mode - This challenging mode limits your number of continues, and opponent attacks deal more hurt. There are also fewer checkpoints within stages. OPTIONS (The following settings can be adjusted in-game.) ・Sound - Increase the number to raise the volume. ・Vibration - Set to "On" to have your device vibrate when Mega Man takes hurt. (Default setting: On) Note: This option will not be displayed on devices with no vibration function. ・Attack - Auto: Keep the attack button for rapid-fire Mega Buster shots. Manual: Each press of the attack button fires one Mega Buster shot. Tap repeatedly for rapid-fire shots.(Default setting: Auto) ・Speed - Select between Normal and High to adjust video test speed. ・Key Config - Change position of the in-game attack button and jump button. James Johnson: The joystick on the touch screen is so awful. You can't jump and grab a ladder easily. Makes me really frustrated. Everything is a good port. But the controls suck. Yeah impossible to jump to a ladder and climb. I have tried so a lot of times on top mans level over the spikes and he won't grab it. Unfortunately I am beautiful sure rush just is gotten from top man so GG

Shawn Crnich: It's alright. It's not what I was expecting. The video test is slow and unresponsive. The controls are weak and you can't change powers on the fly (like in the NES ver). It's a awesome trip down memory lane, as long as you hold your expectations in check. This is NOT Mega Man of old. This is a shadow of Mega Man, but it is alright if you don't expect much. Had I to do it once more, I would not spend 2 bucks for it.

T B: Awful Implementation While the mini game is there and shows promise, the execution here is awful. Frame skips no matter what mode you're on are the worst trouble. Controls, while playable, are not the best. Slides are difficult. Also emailed help about playing experience before reviewing and received no response.

Andy Sampson: Edited: a hot mess (4 star to 1 star) The more I play, the more issues I search. Note: this is a port from a Japanese smartphone ver at least 8 years old! What's wrong: diagonal inputs don't work at all (shadow blade loses a lot from this, and ladders are impossible to grab sometimes). Speed is off, no matter what setting you use. The AI is off (opponents don't work as they could). The whole mini game is a hot mess. See the Sonic CD port to see a classic mini game redone correctly. I love MM3, but this is horrible. Want I should refund now.

Walter Musial: Slide... The controls are rough to start with after playing through MM1 and MM2 but now that you have to slide its even worse. I can't wait to see the mega buster of MM4. Besides that, simple mode is excellent for mobile gaming.

Richard Ngo: Mega Man not so mega While it's good that Capcom has created these for mobile, the video test is not conducive to touchscreens at all. Not only is sliding impossible, but there is also a distinct lack of reasonable frame rate as well. I would suggest the legacy collection got ds over these mobile ports.
