  Alistair Shaw: "Simple to learn, hard to master" sums this one up well. This is not in any method simcity, if you are looking for that you will be disappointed. The town concept here is a guise for a very intelligent puzzle mini game. You need to think ahead, playing your tiles wisely. Each missed occasion to clear rows further increases a squeeze on place further up the board but an sole focus on that first row will see issues further on. V intelligent, v addictive. No advertisements, no in apk purchase. 69p very well spent.

  Eric Burgess: (Ads:no, IAP:no) First off, although town building is the theme, this is a straight-up puzzler. Think Tetris, not SimCity. If you're cool with that, you could buy this mini game immediately. Here's the primary idea: you put tiles one by one into a 7x6 grid. Commercial tiles increase or decrease the value of squares around them--for example, a library adds +1 to the four diagonally adjacent squares, a hospital adds +1 to every square in its row and column, and a landfill is -1 to all eight adjacent squares. But you have to place a house on a square to actually collect the points (and there are apartments that count double). Once you have enough points in the left-hand column, it disappears and everything slides over, giving you fresh place to work with. You always see the next four tiles, and you have a put to save one tile for later. Every mini game adds to your total "XP", which counts towards unlocking the 10 unique tiles. You can also receive XP through achievements (e.g. score 20+ on one square) and challenges (clear a certain number of columns with a predetermined sequence of tiles). There are minor flaws, but the concept is so new and fun that it easily earns my five stars.

  Farrah Brumm: It's very addictive, so if you don't have a couple hours to spare, you may not wish to begin playing. Tried out one of the challenges, but I found it a bit too challenging. I'll give it other test later. Took me a bit to figure out the nuances of the mini game, but it's only because I didn't initially read through the guidelines. It's a easy concept that's still difficult enough to be challenging. All in all, definitely worth the $0.99.

  Eduardo Gabrieloff: This is basically a math mini game, trying to add or multiply numbers to reach a goal in each column. What makes the mini game unbelievable, however, is the theme. This doesn't feel like math, it feels like bizarre town planning. What will this airport do to these residential tiles? How do I position this hospital to most effectively cover tiles? As you advance and unblock more buildings, things receive more and more interesting. Buy it! You won't regret it.

But some things need improvement: when you receive the level finished popup and press the back key, the mini game hangs up. Press 'play once more' and your hiscore won't be saved. If you upload your hiscores they appear in your list double. I think an 'undo latest action' button would be nice, we all create mistakes :-) Given tiles often feel unbalanced. 10 or more houses in a row later in mini game can create it unbeatable..
