  Richard Gordon: The algorithm is not excellent but it allows you to be creative and play without worrying about replicating it later! The editing feature needs to be improved, I cant even figure out how to add a note where one does not exist (and some were not show in the output) but I am a large fanatic! I was wishing something existed that allowed true instruments to be transcribed into sheet melody just the another day and Voila! Music scanner to the rescue!

  Ralph Geddes: Good tool! I test to learn more and more about it as I go. I can't read sheet melody very well, at least not website read quick yet, but I sure wish to. I saw that it let's you correct what it tabs out and notates for you. I have held off on paying for bonus, only because I'm always broke, but it it totally feels like a excellent learning program to combine with Fender Play, or Yousician, and if you like Music Scanner, you could definately also test Fretboard Learn, HumOn, and maybe test Maestro.

  Dax Bradley: This apk does exactly what it says it does. Folks, if you are at a point at which you are able to pick apart all the little mistakes the apk makes in transcribing what you are hearing yourself play, you are probably at a skill level that is where you can draft your own notation. For beginner-to-mid-level people like me, who know "just enough" to be risky, this is a excellent program, even if the algorithm isn't excellent, which the developers says upfront. And it's gratis.

  Emlie: Oh, boy this needs work. As a melody transcriber, it works relatively well. A really big trouble I found with my first scan was that the melody was transcribed poorly when a video only had tiny noise. The music and notes were mostly correct but the length the notes were held for were all kinds of messed up. I can work out the mistakes manually but the editor is very awful. My largest trouble was that you cannot recieve the full score without bonus, which is NOT fine. Please, devs! Fix that!
