  A Google user: I wanted to check the apk before buying the dash camera. The first thing when you begin the apk it asks you is to register, so I cannot do anything without an Mi acc, which is absurd. At least give us an option to skip that if we don't wish to synchronize our videos.

  A Google user: According to Google Play it comes up saying it's compatible with my Device, which is a Smartphone, not a cellphone. I'm looking for an Apk that would let me to monitor a live feed on my smartphone with the camera mounted remotely. Instructions say to begin the Apk which will make a HotSpot and connect to that HotSpot. Begin WiFi run HotSpot Scanner no fresh WiFi Networks are made. So not sure if this APP is the trouble or if the camera is faulty. Method beyond the warranty so looks like I might be out of luck. If I have to buy a fresh camera, and as much as I love my Yi, if I can't count on the quality then I'll have to buy elsewhere.

  A Google user: I cannot receive this apk to work. I connect to the dashcam over WiFi and it says that I am not connected. On the same screen it says that I AM connected to it! Requiring a smartphone apk, acc, username, and password just to use a easy camera in your vehicle is ludicrous!

  A Google user: Apk doesn't work! After confirmation of WiFi hotspot connection the apk cannot"see" the connection, still doesn't work with place turned on and even with an acc set up, totally useless if you cannot connect to check your positioning of the camera, and to download any of the videos by Wi-Fi.
