  A Google user: WORKS BUT FIX THE INSTRUCTIONS! The apk works as advertised EXCEPT the instructions are non-existent and I couldn't receive it to pair with my Ultrex. After a call to tech help, I was informed that with my Ultrex on, scan for Bluetooth devices and then keep the pairing button down on the iPilot Link head UNTIL I hear the four pairing beeps! This took 15 or 20 seconds it seems and I'm guessing everyone else is also giving up before it decides to pair! As soon as I heard those beeps... All awesome and was immediately able to control the unit and also modernize my remote! Just hold holding that pairing button!

  Si SaysHey: Not as awesome as the clunky remote it came with. I had higher expectations and wants for the apk. basically forward and stop, left, right and increase speed. this may be a early attempt on the apk if so it could have said beta or early stages. my smartphone screen is easier to read than factory remote so it would be nice if they overlapped 100% not sure why they don't. You can pair easily by holding the pair button on the motor until seen by device, its not push and go.

  Jared: Ver 1.5 screws up ipilot link remote the icons move on their ownafter doing menu edit and have to tap above the icon you wish to choose the one you actually wish. The added talon icon is blacked out and it throws off the touch screen calibration. only fix is to restore the ipilot link remote constantly please fix. Stopped working from the fresh 1.5 modernize. They sent me a fresh remote that didnt work and then they sent me other remote and a fresh ipilot link head unit that didnt work. This tool modernize is full of bugs

  Randy Herrmann: It doesn't do anything. Will not pair with the motor. Keeps saying there is an apk modernize accessible and when I click "yes", there is no modernize since its already up to date. It just takes me around in circles. And I do have Bluetooth turned on.

  victor chakmakian: Apk is DANGEROUS. It crashes constantly and shuts my smartphone off but the motor keeps running. I have to run to the front of my boat and steer by hand till I receive the smartphone and the apk restarted. What a POS. Some one is going to receive harm or wreck their boat

  Aaron Johnson: This apk doesn't do what it claims, or at least I can't figure it out. I have a brand fresh terrova I pilot link bow mount and can't pair my smartphone to this apk. A awesome instructional video would easily change my rating

  Outdoor Detective: Very disappointed. Beautiful hefty price for a power drive unit with an inability to connect to it. I installed and uninstalled the apk multiple times, no luck. FRUSTRATED. This motor almost instantly connects to the i-pilot controller but wont connect to Android device Galaxy Note 8.
