  Fresh apk works good. If you're having problems, your system was not installed correctly. This is not a plug 'n play apk. The supporting server and PBX need to be installed by a professional.

  Tim Blankenship: Basically it works, most of the time. You really need to receive your network set up correctly, which is apparently not super simple. There is a lag when switching networks and when you smartphone is locked smartphone come in "Enterprise call" mode (press any key to agree). You can't manage favorites in the apk and all of your cell smartphone calls and contacts receive mingled with your Mitel network calls and contacts, so if you using this apk on a private cell smartphone it's confusing/ awkward. Overall it works, but it seems more difficult/sloppy than one would hope for.

  All these players complaining of lock ups and apk not working. We been using the apk pre-connect ST13 and now connect. We have seen none of these problems, maybe some of you all need to verify your network and config. Yes audio quality can be an problem, but in most cases especially on public wireless connection you have no control over network so it's not the apk.

  Dan Famiglietti: Apk is fine it's a good face lift over the old apk. The problems we are having if you turn on audio over cellular it does not keep that setting so you have to toggle it back on every time. Also if you are using cellular the smartphone does not ring when you are getting and incoming call, outgoing works ok. If I'm using WiFi the smartphone will ring with an incoming call but most of the time I'm not on WiFi so that's a large problem.

  Mustafa Mohabbat: Apk is getting better however still not good. You cannot keep calls E.g. if you are a member of a hunt or workgroup. Additionally you cannot create calls if you have call accounting switched on. Crucially missing copy paste of numbers into dialler. Apk needs more work please.

  Stephen Lee: Still a piece of c**p of an apk. Frequent crashes and no ring with incoming calls are the 2 largest issues. Unlike another related apks, this apk have to be running in memory for it to give any type of call notification.

  Ben Pease: When it works it's unbelievable.... unfortunately mine crashes nearly everytime the smartphone locks/the apk is idle. Also the incoming call notification intermittently gets stuck. I have to force stop the apk or reset the smartphone to clear it. I'll be satisfied to modernize this review if the stability problems are resolved.

  Mike Hinnenkamp: Hate that I have to reprovision my smartphone every time I begin the apk. Also replaces my server DNS names with IP addresses which doesn't work. Have to change them back every time. How did that create it past development?

  Dustin Snyder: At first glance this appears to be an improvement over the previous apk - the ShoreTel Mobility Client. . Unfortunately, it is missing easy functionality like Instant Messaging. Directory lookups are much much slower and another problems abound. Good face-lift - but missing critical features.

  Adrian Allen: Overall a good graphical redesign, too awful it ends there. If, and when, you receive a smartphone working with it a few things seem to be missing, most notably IM. A few times too a lot of I have had the incoming call notification fail to go away on the smartphone even if the call ended hours ago and was answers from my desk not mobility. While these seem minor, for an apk that is being forced out by Shoretel by the deployment squads due to the imminent removal of the older ver it seems in awful taste.

  Charles Underhill: Whenever I attempt to create calls from this apk, the call fails and a notice pops up that says 'Call Failure - Network Busy'. HOWEVER, if I initiate a call from my desk smartphone or soft smartphone then move it to the apk while it is ringing, I am able to complete the call. What gives?!?

  Dory Weismer: Didn't work before that well as shoretel, now it doesn't even allow me connect with the newest modernize as Mitel. At least it saved me the headache of exploring further while this non functioning apk still eats up your battery like none another. Deleted. Disappointing apk.

  Matthew Schley: I made a meeting in outlook using the shoretel buttons added to outlook. Meeting did not present up in my shoretel apk. Recreated the meeting in the shoretel apk and it gave me a various url. It didnt work. I ended up making the call directly and sharing my screen. Once finished with the call shoretel still shows as busy and you can't keep calls without manually changing the status back to accessible.

  WORTHLESS! I'm forced to use it every day for my job. Maybe I need a fresh job, it's that awful! 4 taps to receive to your contact list, no fast scroll option so you have to scroll through every name, you cannot add people to your "favorites" from within the apk, if you test to find for someone and press the find box the find box will begin... but no keyboard to kind the name in. If you wish the keyboard you have to tap the find box AGAIN. Very clumsy, poorly planned apk. Makes business method more difficult.

  Ariel Casperson: Ugh. Was really excited about this. Then I used it... Apk starts up when making calls from your private number, so you have a call from your smartphone and this apk running at the same time with no method of closing it out. Rings indefinitely when getting a call. Glitches out and won't allow you reply. CONSTANTLY loses connection and drops the call, even when wi-fi is powerful.
