Mobile ID is a mobile identity service provided by a few Town Councils in Catalonia and another corporative entities. The Apk enables citizens to interact with the public Administration and digitally sign electronic files with total safety and legal validity. The Apk requires the player to register to the service, in order to let access to the different sections, and it allows three player identity levels, as listed below. - Registered player level: The player only enters the primary needed data. This level allows access only to the unrestricted services. - Accredited player level: The player has to enter an identity activation code (or CAID). This code is provided by the Town Council after the player identity has been verified. The verification process can be performed face to face or via internet, accessing the site www.mobileid.cat with a recognized digital certificate. This level allows access to all the accessible services. - Certified player level: This level of accreditations embeds a recognized digital certificate in the APP, which enables to digitally sign electronic files and perform transactions with full legal validity. Mobile ID allows to securely access sites, mobile Apks, systems and procedures of the Town Council that normally require a powerful citizen authentication. Francesc Mercadé: He viscut a casa una nova alta. És impossible! Complicat i immanejable. Hem perdut tots molt temps i escrits d'anada i tornada, no surt i hi ha incidències acceptades al propi web oficial, "temporals", des d'abril de 2015. És increïble la falta d'autocrítica municipal. És una eina fallida que no s'entén que sigui municipal a la Barcelona oberta, de la participació . Cal millorar molt la utilitat (és poca) i la usabilitat d'aquesta apk, però no actualitzar-la o que no funcioni és una presa de pel.

Nadal Bayfon: The process of accrediting appeared to be impossible in a Windows 10-run computer. None of the browsers seem to agree the Java operation required for the digital signature. Never had a trouble accreditting for any another service in the same computer. A complete failure. 3 weeks after the trouble is unsolved
