About the application:

Moka Mera Emotions is a playful, educational application for kids where they can discover and learn how to identify their emotions using emotional filters and picture cards. This apk can be used in early childhood education by kids together with their teachers, or at home with their parents as a program to identify and discuss various emotions. By tapping on the emoticons in the apk, representing 19 various emotions, the photo of the child’s face will change accordingly. The face becomes e.g. unhappy, surprised, mad, or satisfied. There are various emotional filters and sound effects to help the emotion. Select your language in the apk (English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Swedish, and Finnish). There are also picture cards with Moka Mera, the tiny creature, representing the same 19 emotions. By holding your finger on the mirror you can see how you look naturally and compare it to the emotional filter picture of yourself. You can turn off the sound by tapping the speaker. You can take pictures of yourself by holding the selected emoticon. There are 7 core emotions and 12 extra emotions, with a color code connecting them to one of the core emotions. By tapping the same button you can see all 19 emotions. The emotions in the apk are: Satisfied, Surprised, Unhappy, Mad, Disgusted, Scared, Love (core emotions) and Proud, Curious, Lonely, Ashamed, Disappointed, Jealous, Bored, Sleepy, Shy, Worried, Nervous, Relieved, and Me (no specific emotion). Moka Mera Emotions is secure for kids to use, which means we don’t collect any data, it’s gratis from advertising, and it includes no in-app purchases. The application works offline and no internet connection is important. It is based on the Finnish curriculum for early childhood education and we have cooperated with researchers, experts, and teachers, to produce the best possible content.
