  ??????: Before the previous modernize, I should not receive the mini game to load properly! I contacted the developer, and she was nice enough to listen to the problem. she asked for more info to be able to assist me; and shortly after I sent the extra info, I received an modernize that fixed the trouble! 😃 There was at least one person with the same loading problem as me; and I bet if that person ran this apk once more, it would successfully run! But problem shoot aside, I love the content of this apk! 😃

  William Gray: I really enjoyed this apk, I'd love to see a shopping situation and maybe visit to a tourist attraction, public transport, and a wine bar. I use a pixel and search it gets very hot to the point of having to stop to cool down. I also struggled with the pointer it slips off the recording bit sometimes when the person is further away. But overall very awesome price for the fun

  Paul K: Good potential - just needs a bit of help. The "Things you can say" dialogue box often appears empty, so you receive no method of knowing what your options are. The microphone / voice recognition is also a bit patchy - sometimes only picks up the second half of what you say. As a demo, this is good, and shows the potential for a lot more. Iron out the bugs, I'd be prepared to pay a lot more for it. As it is, I'm slightly miffed.

  Jim Weiss: I can see the potential here, but you could have kept this in development a while longer. Super buggy. There's a lag in the mic, it doesn't activate until I'm halfway through the first word, at which point it doesn't recognize what I'm saying no matter how awesome my pronounciation is, and I can't advance. Very frustrating, all but useless in its current state.

  Scott Grant: I have taught Chinese at university for 20 years. I have also developed a 3D virtual environment for my students to practice their Chinese in (not commercially accessible) that we have been using for nearly 10 years. I say this because I am actually excited about MondlyVR and its potential. However, I must warn potential learners of Chinese that quite a bit of what is said in the dialogues is wrong, either grammatically or a native speaker would just never say those things or that method. Some of it is just nonsense and you receive the feeling that the English was just feed into Google Translate and the literal Chinese translation spat out and used. The pronunciation of the so called native speakers is also all over the put. I hope Mondly makes the effort to fix these things up properly, otherwise they are doing s large disfavor to their customers.

  Chrisanna Daye: I love the idea of this apk. Execution is not that good. You absolutely will not be learning a language with this apk. It can be used as a supplement for someone who already has some knowledge of the language. For example, I wish to learn Japanese. There is no background on the language. I should barely repeat any answers. I was lost. Spanish is a various story. I am method more advanced in Spanish so I should pronounce words and follow along easily.

The only thing that happens after selecting a language and starting a session is the blue ellipses pop up beside the hero, constantly bouncing as if it's loading something but nothing happens regardless of how long I wait. I tried emailing their help but after 2 weeks I've received no response whatsoever.

  Daniel Cook: I'm on a ZTE axon 7 using bobovr with integrated head phones for this daydream apk. In order to play the vr language learning mini games, you must give apk access to your audio recorder. The idea of the mini game is to have conversations with vr agents aloud in foreign languages. Each response you give is supposed to be an on-the-spot audio recording. So you need to sit in a quiet place to play the mini game. However, the audio record button in the vr environment hardly ever works when you're "playing", and the speech segmentation and word recognition tool is pathetic (as another reviewers noted). It wouldn't even work in my native language. Simply place, I wish a refund. The developers and CEO could be ashamed of themselves for releasing and making unwitting customers pay for this awful, broken ver of their apk. EDIT #1: In response to the CEO Alex's answer, I edited my original review's grammar, but I did not change any of the content. EDIT #2: In response to Alex's answer to my review, I wish to re-emphasize how awful this apk is. Out of 12 reviewers, 6 reviewers say that the apk doesn't work. I search it hard to trust Alex's response that they inspected "tens" of phones.

  Balazs Kecskemeti: I have just purchased this apk, and cannot receive it to work. I choose the language, than when I test to select the scenario... nothing happens. A red circle comes up... as if loading, but it stops there. Cannot figure out why it does that. How can I receive full refund?! 😰 I am very disappointed over the fact, that I cannot use this apk at all. Therefore, when you say, that you are sorry I couldn`t fully (?) have fun this apk, you could have said, that it didn`t work at all. It loads, then when I am to pick the scenario, it freezes. Nothing happens. Please tip me on how to receive a full refund. Thanks.

  Jessica Joseph: Honestly this apk has been a quite a allow down. It activated ok, I allowed the permission, picked my language and picked my scenario without problem; doing anything else, however, was impossible. I was stuck with a bobbing blue elipsis, as if it was loading, with no signs of changing. Re-installed it a few times and there was no change either. I wish my cash back.

I've sent a few emails to the developer, and have gotten no response. Don't wait for time with this apk.
