A Google user: L’Escapadou is dedicated to solid phonics in their apks, and Montessori Words is other good example of phonics that really hit the tag. Not only are they ‘smart’ in that the letter sounds change according to the word being built, but as a parent you can hone in so carefully on the phonograms that your kid is learning – need words including ‘ck’ – no trouble! Words with silent e’s (vowel-consonant-e words) – you’re covered. In just a few taps your kid is ready to practice the guidelines she’s just learned! There are also a generous number of words included – 320 in total! I also like the options – various keyboard layouts, lower case/upper case, cursive, and optional tips. They go along with the phonics flexibility to offer a good learning program with perfect value. The phonics-based movable alphabet is a nice premium that you can use like talking letter magnets for easy (short letter sounds) reading and spelling lessons – or just for fun!

Michael Patrick: Unbelievable application with a developer that genuinely wants his players to be satisfied. My children love this apk and will play it for hours. I have 4 year old twins and my daughter started before my son. Her spelling and recognition of words have started to outstrip my son's, so we are getting him on the apk as well. Pierre is a good guy to work with. Help this Dev. The price of a Starbucks coffee for endless entertainment and a head begin for children? I'll take that deal any day.

Stephanie Silvia: Using Nexus 10 smartphone. Good customer care and good apks for iOS... See their site! I know those can take advantage of built in tech that android device may lack? But oh, I'm hoping - And even caught myself shopping for an iPad! Please give droid players those goodies before our children outgrow them :-)

Austen Valentine: Background: With my 2yrold, we've played phonics mini games using a dry erase board and letter blocks for a few months. This Montessori apk works beautifully as a follow-up. After 15min of mucking about the screen, she understood the concept. She now plays the apk every another day. Before dragging letters, she imitates the entire word to establish phonetics. As she chooses from letters, she checks her selection before dragging by playing the target sound. The interface is intuitive and robust. A lot of thanks!

A Google user: While this apk has some reeally good features, it really needs levels related the handwriting apk, where you can limit a childs use of clicking on the box to determine what letter they need. Combining an element of hand writting/tracing woukd also create a large improvement

A Google user: After my daughter completed 50 words, the letter sounds were gone. Hope this can be fixed as the apk is useless without the letter sound. This is phonics Fine, so I was able to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the apk

Phil Kosla: Please optimize a tiny bit better for Android device tablets (I have Nexus 10). And please add your math and crossword apks to Android device! With a tiny tweaking this apk should be top-notch. It's beautiful awesome as it is, though.

A Google user: I would give it 5 stars if they would add the ability to move this large apk to my SD card. It takes up method too much place on my smartphone! Otherwise it's a good apk that is helping my dyslexic daughter to spell.

Ilham Hagi: My children love this apk! But unfortunately I have 3 children the same age working on the 3 word phase. The same words hold coming up and they've basically memorized it. Its good for one kid doing it on his own. I want there were more words. If I should receive a refund, that would be appreciated.

Caleblaura Bell: Neat idea, but how do you receive it to proceed to the next word? The "fireworks" screen gets old after awhile! I feel like I'm missing something easy...

A. Alexander: Why no crossword feature as with the iOS ver? With just one word at a time, the reward feature becomes too familiar too soon. The iOS ver has you do three at a time in crossword fashion. Want the Android device ver did.

Ted M: Agreed. Not as awesome as the ios ver. No pronunciations when playing with letters. No ability to add fresh words.
