  Alexander Chand: Wasn't sure about opening this due to the negative reviews but don't be discouraged by them. Not awesome for use with a really big case but did fit 3 various devices that we have. I was impressed at the range of projection size that is accessible. Focus/adjustment on the lens at first seemed unadjustable but turned out to be be just a tiny stiff which is awesome so it doesn't move if you happen to bump it. I did not like the background melody, seems low quality on all devices and method to repetitive. It would be nice to have more of the interactive sounds. On my older devices no permissions were needed so I'm assuming newer devices to ask for flash access they just ask for camera use.

  Denise Lopez: You have to give permissions for this apk to take pictures and videos from your smartphone to access the flashlight mode. The projector is designed for right handed people. I keep my smartphone with my left it's so awkward trying to manually turn the reel. Boo! One begin slot on the opposite side would have easily solved this problem. The smartphone becomes top massive with the reel attached. Then having to "turn a page" by swiping to read the plain texts "story" while you keep the smartphone at the ceiling then turn the reel was initially uncomfortable. But l got used to it. If your child or toddler bumps your hand or you mistouch the screen you have to go through a bunch of screens before you receive back to the story pages once more that have no numbers to assist receive you back on track. That's annoying! It was simple to receive lost as to what photo belonged to what text was being displayed on the smartphone "pages". Page numbers on the smartphone would've helped. So if you hit back button by mistake prepare to have your patience grated because it bumps you to the main menu not the previous page. (The photos look like peep holes. Square or rectangular would have been more visually pleasing. Imo, but the kiddos didn't mind at all) My one year old kept distracting me from what page l was on and it took longer to receive back on track. It took me longer than a moment (embarrassingly) to figure out the dimmed story text meant to scroll upwards to finish reading the page. I found the initial set up for this product frustrating and l almost gave up and took it back to Target. I'm here to say place it down come back to it at a peaceful moment and give it a second possibility. After all the initial aggravation, I gave it a second test, lowered the melody to a very soft ambiance. (A few background melody choices would have been lovely) I place on Sago mini Vacation and experienced the joy l was hoping for when l bought these products. My 5 year old son said "I love this so much mommy!!" and it melted away my frustraitions. Like my hand getting in the method causing shadow while turning the wheel if l wasn't attentive because lm left handed. I gave this 4 stars because after all, in the end, we got what this product advertises and it was worth it. I bought the gift package, sweet dreams lullaby and Uni the unicorn. We will be buying more.

  chee vang: Modernize: Says it supports Note 8 now which is good! Bought it as a gift for my niece and she liked it. Her mother has a Note 8 and we had to guesstimate where to put the projector. This worked out ok but she'll have to figure out where to place it each time. Overall, it's a good product.

  Ricardo Cárdenes: Not too be used with an LG K20. The mechanism will block the switch on button, meaning removing (and recalibrating) if the smartphone goes to sleep. Plus, the melody is annoying [Clarification]: I couldn't know about the device compatibility until after receiving the product (I didn't buy it myself). Also, a compability list can never be extensive (too a lot of devices to cover). I recognized that this is *my* trouble. The stars are based on my general opinion of the product

  Elena Wilkins: A good idea. Just got it today at Target. Hoped to read it to my 5 yr old at bedtime. We are large readers. To receive photos fully focused, you would have to sit a foot away from the surface onto which you're projecting. Anything farther, and they are soft and blurry. So much for wanting to have a ceilling present. The photos in stories are beautiful, the sound effects are adorable, but stories just don't flow. A 5 star idea with a 3 star delivery.

  Mara Hill: Loved the idea of this and was eager to use it with my tiny ones but the activation code wouldn't work. They advise using different combinations of upper and lower case "L". I don't have time for that! There were 4 L's in my activation code. I'll sadly be returning it to Target.

I really wish to know why it keeps prompting me to give access. You can turn on the flashlight manually

  Awful first impression. Product begin seems rushed since activation codes are causing problem for numerous customers. Product assist on this problem is cumbersome, circular, and frustrating. This product would be returned If it were not received as a gift.

  Felix Montoya: The activation codes that come with the storytime projector do not work. And it's not a case of not being able to tell the difference between a capital I and a lowercase l. They have a sticker printed over the original code on the cardboard and that code Denver Works no matter how I test to place it in. But if I test to take that sticker off I'm going to rip the cardboard and not be able to see the code on the original cardboard card.
