  Kittisak Tangsiri: This tool modernize finally makes the product functional as advertised and worth a (very long) wait. Group open/close and automation based on time schedule has worked well for me so far. Just create sure to modernize device firmware, which requires you to download a separate MOVE OTAU apk, before using this fresh apk ver. The only trouble that troubles me is that there can still be only one android device device associated for controlling MOVE. This create it inconvenient for another family members to operate blinds if they don't have access to my smartphone. I hope the squad is working on allowing multiple devices to be connected to the same MOVE network and will be able give 5 stars once this problem is resolved.

  Dennis Marshall: Like other reviewer mentioned - limited to one Android device device! I'm staggered, and presumed it would use multi input devices at this (reasonably high) price point. I see a response saying it's being added, but if the unit is incomplete, why all the price hikes. Save the higher price for when you have a fully working model! Given that it took 3 months to arrive, I expected a more fully functional unit. I also use Soma with Smart Shades apk which allows multi devices.

  jay daniel: Its taken ages to finally receive the automations working they are not fully what I expected, in reference to sunrise and temperature settings. As other player has pointed out the buttons on my move troops also had issues with manually operating the blinds on two of my troops. The automations that where set for one unit would operate on other troops or would just not happen at all. I have just updated to the recent apk and will modernize my comments in due course

  Dan Nuttall: Have updated the firmware. Groups work ok but the time automation doesn't work. It apparently saves to the device successfully but the blinds never consistently open/close at the specified times.

  Daniel Herscovitch: Automation don't work but when u email them they say it does and no one is really accessible to offer assist.... it's a good idea so hopefully they're working hard on fixing it but they need more staff to assist out. Also you can't really return it since you'll pass the return period waiting for the apk modernize.

  Phil Rence: B4 firmware make batter, Move unit worked. After make batter and using fresh tool, my Move unit is a brick. It adds as a fresh device on BT network, but Manual Up/Down buttons no longer function, and Set Limit Buttons on tool just cause unit to buzz, motor no longer turns. Fresh alkaline batteries in Move, no issues running OATU firmware, Samsung S7 smartphone.

  Juan Benavides: The automation time schedules work. However, it appears that they receive stored in non-volatile memory in the MOVE device itself, which is awesome but there is no method to delete them. So, if you make one and then change your mind and edit the time, you will end up with two schedules.

  Chad Lester: This apk is awful. I ran into all kinds of errors associating the device with my smartphone. First a mysterious "Bluetooth channel must be accessible" error, then after reboots and resetting the device, it would fail to associate. Holding my smartphone within 2 inches of the device was the only method to associate it. It doesn't seem that you can use more than one smartphone to control the blinds. I was disappointed that the apk needs such broad permissions to your smartphone. It needs access to the camera, images and all files on my device? That seems like a large safety flaw. Lastly, the plastic wheel broke the very first time it tried to lift my pleated shades. :( Very disappointing product and apk.
