  This was recommended to be by a mate in the National Weather Service. Good apk. I, however have a request that you add a few things to your submissions. Perhaps light rain, moderate rain, thunderstorms, massive rain and possibly even funnel cloud seen (not on ground). You have most everything else covered.   Elin Duke Potter: I used mPING extensively for a couple of years, had to uninstall due to internal storage problems and forgot to reinstall. Right now (03/05/17, 0530 EST) there is no rain, despite the Accuweather apk that came with my smartphone reporting light rain. I live 3.5 miles from TIA where the weather reporting instrumentation is. Now, I can look at reports in mPING and see what my neighbors are experiencing despite what the weather apk tells me. Satisfied reinstall.

  Bo Campbell: I have never opened this apk yet I still gave a 5 star rating despite the easy spelling error in the description. The word form which could be from.... I'm not quite sure how that's gone unnoticed however I've seen crazier things (I think). The easy fact that this apk is to learn more about our planet and is proactive giving people something productive while at the same time beneficial to do is why I gave 5 stars. I love the idea alone. If we only had a really big network of people doing this kind of data collection with not only what you are but, a lot of a lot of various reports. Changing the items to report weekly or monthly. Even ones you wouldn't think about such as what they ate, what time they woke up, what they dreamed about. How a lot of times did they was their hands a day. How a lot of times did they laugh or create other by laugh. These are random pointless examples. If we had a proactive network of people reporting various things we should learn so much about so a lot of various things. The sky would be the limit and we should learn a lot about anything.

  Wenatchee Wayne: It's got some shortcomings. Under Reduced Visibility, there is not a method to report smoke. We have MONTHS of smoky weather here in the Pacific NW, but can't report it via this apk.

  Marc Foster: No matter what specific condition I choose, the system always defaults to the first option in any major category. So my drizzle reports come out as rain, dime hail as pea, etc.

  Tony Howell: Never received a notification yellow "x" to allow me know that the "try" report I submitted was acknowledged. And was working properly. Also the map does not display anything just a blue screen. Ive even cleared cache,temp,history,. Etc and still nothing. Along with the the lil markers are so little you can't see them unless you zoom in. Therefore unistalling apk. Also the device I'm using is a samsung s6 active smart smartphone with android device operating system. Also would be nice if you should see what others are reporting for your place.
