Android device MthlyIncome Application Manual 1 Introduction The application allows one to easily track their estimated Monthly Income through the entire career and in retirement as one manages and builds their portfolio of assets (referred to as source(s) here). The Log display feature allows the comparison of 10 asset scenarios of fresh assets or analyzing existing portfolio assets. The local player (non-networked) database (DB) adds safety to the data. The “i” symbol provides build in assist for the Application at all sections. 2 Warranty Disclaimer RJG Technology Solutions, LLC (henceforth “the Developer”) is furnishing this item "as is". The Developer does not provide any warranty of the item whatsoever, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or any warranty that the contents of the item will be error-free. 3 Main UI Screen The main screen is where you enter your income source parameters or choose and load an existing income source from the database (DB). The basic parameters are the Fresh Income Source, show amount (Value), estimated average annual rate of return (Rate) and needed number of income years (Years). This info computes the Monthly Income estimate using annuity discounting ways. You can save this case using the Save Data Button and/or place it in Log display as part of an analysis. 3.1 Enter Fresh or Choose Existing Source Select Dropdown loads a source from DB into screen fields for updating and/or creating a fresh source by changing the name and saving it. The Fresh Income Source allows you to make a fresh source for analysis. 3.2 Value (Source Show Amount) This is entry of fresh or updated amount (Value) for the source. Value here is treated as Monthly Income if Years value below is zero (0) used for annuity kind sources i.e. Pension, Social Safety. [Input range 0.00 to 99999999.99 (<100 Million)] 3.3 Rate (Average Annual Percentage Rate) Is the source “expected” average annual percentage rate based on historic performance adjusted for forward expectations. [Input Range 0.00 to 100.00%] 3.4 Years (Needed Period) This is the needed income period from source like a retirement or life emergency period. A zero (0) value here takes Value above as a constant monthly value i.e. Social Safety, Pension, etc. [Input Range 0 to 100] 3.5 Source Monthly Income When all input sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 are complete this is monthly income value. Note: Like a calculator any parameter change(s) updates this value. 3.6 DB Mthly Income Sum This is total monthly income value from all sources in DB. (Excludes the SampleSource source) 3.7 Function Buttons Buttons assist to manage DB sources and Log display. 3.7.1 Save Data Button Save source parameters being analyzed, updated or made into DB. 3.7.2 Delete Record Button Remove source record from DB using source name in Fresh Income Source section 3.1. 3.7.3 Clear DB Button Clear all sources and their parameters from the DB. Note: The apk always provides a SampleSource source for training. 3.7.4 Log Data Button This territories show source into Log display for viewing and analysis of source(s) ordered top to bottom, first in to latest in. Use vertical scrollbar to see none visible entries. When maximum Log stuff exist, a Confirm Dialog asks removal of oldest/top item before adding fresh item. A Click on a Log Item reloads it back to main UI screen and removes it from Log upon player confirm.. 3.7.5 Clear Log Button This clears all sources from Log display. (Temporary Storage Place)
