  Paul Lovette: Apk is working perfectly for me. Setup was a breeze following the apk instructions. I am connected via Bluetooth. All Alexa commands are there. Amazon Melody works good. Just ask her to play a song by artist name. Home automation (w/SmartThings) is also working as promised. I can control the thermostat for the house and ask what temperature it is reading and what mode it is currently set to. To my surprise you can set the phone's Bluetooth volume by asking Alexa to 'set volume to ' Forward and backwards buttons work to move to the next song or the previous one. Voice commands Skip/Next and Previous/Back also works. Vehicle navigation on the smartphone works perfectly. You can hear it just ok with Muse. I do message if the melody is too loud she will not hear you. This might be an place of improvement on a future firmware modernize. The simple workaround is to lower the vehicle volume approximately 25% when listening to Jump by Van Halen but 35 to 40% listening to Tom Sawyer by Rush. This appears to depend on the tonal range of the melody. Bottom line, it works so well that I purchased the latest Muse Duet Perk! I wish to have a backup just in case and one might be gifted to a awesome mate.

  V S: I couldn't be happier with Muse. It has performed as expected and brings Alexa along for the ride. The device is little and the buttons are just what is required. The apk is good, interfacing between Alexa and my smartphone without problem or delay. What should be better, I don't need the aux audio cable. It would be cool to have the Alexa circle light. Finally, it would be good if the Muse apk turned off when not connected to the vehicle Bluetooth and of course turned on when it was connected. Good job!

  Neil Mason: Love the device. Here are a few advices to assist. Begin the apk on your smartphone when heading to vehicle. Begin vehicle, push button on device. Very simple. Connects within seconds. I found if I'm running around I say pause on my playlist. When I come back just say play. Plucks right back up. As far as the beeping when you've left the vehicle, close the apk.

  Kevin Poulin: Only had a short time to play with it, but overall works beautiful awesome. I won't comment on the voice recognition yet because I don't have the unit permanently mounted, but like someone else mentioned the latest bit of what Alexa speaks gets slash off. Using with a 2014 Buick Regal and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

  Bert Muslu: Apk is fine and here are some pros and cons. PROS: Love that i can use my steering wheel to change the tracks. Telling Alexa to call someone is good as well. Now i can listen to 90's musix when i wish CONS: Connection to the device in my vehicle is spotty. Sometimes it connects instantly, and others it takes a while. Also, the voice recogniton is not all there. The Echos have 7 mics. How a lot of does the Muse have? Considering street noise, ac and heat vent sounds, i have to yell at times. Latest is tje delay when sahing Alexa. It takes a few additional seconds to understand what was said and then to actually say it. Forgot to add one latest thing. Why when my smartphone disconnects from my vehicle, the apk is still running? Jusf now as i kay on the couch using my smartphone, the Muse apk just popped up outta nowhere and says "tap for alexa". Shouldnt the apk begin and close when connecting and disconnecring to muse and BT?.............. UPDATE: with the recent modernize, there is still no difference. I need to begin the apk when i receive in my vehicle. Yesterday as i was using Alexa, i required to lower the volume of the radio and the heater for Alexa to hear me. Type of an annoyance especially if one is to use Alexa constantly. Also i had a question.... when leaving your vehicle, does alexa continue to play melody on the smartphone in the background?

  Nigel Burns: Totally disappointed with this product. I have to manually begin the apk from my smartphone, then connect my bluetooth every time I wish to use it. Why can't the apk just sit in the background? If other apk is running the device will not work. For example I tried recoring a video of me using the device from the same smartphone and the Muse assistant becomes unresponive. This whole set up is an apk. There are a ton of 3rd party alexa apks that you can use for gratis that do exaclty the same thing from your smartphone without the messy wires. Having the aux line and powerline on the same cord is a awful idea for bluetooth players. There could be a seperate aux line for rhose thaf need it. I have a tangle of cords I have to some how figure out how to conceal so that I don't accidentally trip over, receive hung up in while steering, or accidentally choke myself with. Using this device doesn't have the same smooth ooeration as using an Echo device I can't say Alexa and scream out a command. I have to say "Alexa" wait 5 seconds then speak my command and then wait up to 20 seconds before the command is executed and that's using the same 100mb download speeds on my wireless connection I'm sharing 10 another Alexa devices that never experience slow downs. There's a cheap $5.00 solution that beats the socks off of this device. Buy a cheap cellphone mount on Amazon, put your smartphone in it, attach the smartphone to your vehicle. Download one of a million 3rd party Alexa apks on Google play, connect your bluetooth or aux input and speak to Alexa through your smartphone. Google assistant can already do all of this on Android device phones... there is absolutely nothing innovative about this device. I bought an overglorified bluetooth reciever with a mic. Your smartphone already has all of this built in. A mic and bluetooth and you already have to use your smartphone and a secondary apk to use the service. I really hope the bugs receive worked out with the apk.

  Joseph Hong: The apk runs 24/7 and appears on the notification panel all the time (and it also periodically beeps too for no apprent reason). I really don't need the Alexa feature on my smartphone and I want there's an option to disable it while the smartphone is not connected to the Muse device. Also the device never responds to the wakeword whenever I first begin the vehicle, unless I begin the apk on my smartphone and manually attempt to search the device (via "Tap to connect Muse device"). Why cant this be done automatically once the smartphone connects to it? The apk could have a page to explain the various types of indicator light on the device too.

  Alex Yee: Even after the recent modernize, bluetooth audio still cuts off when it worked. Also, Aux output doesn't work all the time. Moreover, in a lot of occasions, Muse didn't answer to the "Alexa" word no matter how loud I say it; I had to unplug/plug the power. Please assist! I have a 2013 Honda Pilot.

  A.J. Lewis: Apk won't connect my Samsung S5 and the Muse device. Help has not been helpful. They place out an modernize that was supposed to fix it but same disappointing effect. Regretting my purchase of 2 of these devices.
