  Scott Kendall: Estonko! I downloaded this apk two years ago. I like it. I am a native speaker of a conservative Seminole dialect of Maskoke. The sounds on this apk are more of the Maskoke dialect of Maskoke than the Seminole dialect.I think learning to read with this apk is good. I have to play around with the sounds of the words because my dialect is various. So, I have to listen carefully to what is being said. Playing around with the apk for about ten mins at a time allows my ear to adjust dialects. This apk is really good for those who are Native Speakers and who wish to learn to read in our language. A lot of Native Speakers of today never had the occasion to learn to read or write our language due to on-going colonialism. For those who wish to learn to write Mvskoke, hang in there. Once you know some of the vocabulary of the phrases provided in this apk, the grammar will start to become apparent. The sentences section of the apk is unbelievable once you can drill down below the surface level if you are wanting to pick up on some grammar. With patience, you will start to read more complex sentences and then be able to write them. From my perspective as a Native Speaker, it is a very strong apk, because it is like listening to my family talk, minus the dialectal differences. It is nice to know what the accepted words are for things like vehicles, electricity and etc. and this apk has done a unbelievable job of including those things. Like in any language, various dialects adapt and adopt words for fresh concepts. One criticism I would create of the apk, towards improvement, is explaining that there is male speech and female speech in Mvskoke. That is not being sexist. That is how the language works grammatically. Women are respected when men use the male speech and women use the female speech. It gives our women the possibility to be themselves and be acknowledged as a woman. It also gives men the social place to be accepted as men. This is a very necessary part of Mvskoke language and culture. Apk mvto cē!
