Derek Franklin: So far, so awesome I inspected out the link local trading for pokemon silver and blue. Its a pain in the butt, but in order to successfully trade with your save files, the mini games must be in near excellent sync. Meaning that they both must save and go through the text prompts at the same time prior to entering the trading center. After that, you will be in the clear. There will be occasions where the mini game will still allow you through the trade center and trade, but the mini game will glitch. This means that you didn't do it exactly right.

James Nicholson: Perfect, robust GB Emulator For those saying the link doesn't work they are doing something wrong. Bought the apk specifically to play generation 1 Pokemon and can speak to the fact that linking works perfectly. In fact it works better than the gameboy it emulates in that you don't have to have a cord or a second gameboy to trade. You don't even have to have a various device. You can run two instances at the same time (I ran blue and yellow and traded to and from multiple times to receive the trade only evolutions). Perfect apk.

Jake Connell: What I think more emultors need. I think both this and My Boy! Should use a "side by side" option for compatibility with VR headsets. There's even a shaded for it from retroarch. Even though it's still a 2d display, it's an good feeling playing these classics with a headset. ePsxe is a good example of this. It's VR option is perfect.

Richard Walton: A no brainer I had bought My Boy! GBA Emulator and that perfect so I had no doubt this emulator for the GB/GBC would be perfect as well, and I was not disappointed. It's still early days but its full supported features list (link cable emulation, full hack code help, rumble, ips patching, etc) firmly put this emulator in first put far ahead of even its closest tournament. Both video and sound emulation are very smooth (basically excellent) even on a single core device such as the SE Xperia PLAY. The player interface is well thought out and intuitive to use (you can't take that for granted these days) and the controls are highly customisable too. The only thing that stops this effort short of being absolutely excellent on its first test is its lack of Super Gameboy colour palette/border help. Though for what this emulator advertises, it certainly delivers on and is worthy of no less than a 10/10 rating.
